Must admit I'd never heard of him, but found this interesting article from January 2012. Maybe the bit about millions of Indonesians buying his jersey is something Saints are aware of. Trouble is they would all need to visit the Megastore I suppose http://www.goal.com/en/news/1717/editorial/2012/01/12/2842728/from-indonesian-king-to-juventus-inter-ac-milan-target-why-radja- Only question is why he did not move to Milan as expected?

Why would he want to wear 67 for Saints? You do know why he chose that number*? 76 would be more appropriate when he joins us but I think PL rules don't allow these "random" numbers. *In honour of the Lisbon Lions
-
He's 22 in 3 days, we should sing happy birthday. Perhaps he will wear 76 for us rather than 67 he wears for Celtic.

What about the Ted Bates Trophy?
-
Shame, would prefer to see him go to a club that will give him proper coaching and game time in a team that plays the right sort of system/football, that probably would mean Europe but would be better for his development as a Saints player than a stretch in with the cloggers and English coaches.
-
Maybe this is what he meant by "playing at a higher level". Hoof.

Higginbotham on life with Woodward / Joe Kinnear scenario

Is Robbie Cabbage made up? Seems quite appropriate to me. -
This is dragging on, is Ever Ready to sign for us or not?
-
Do you mean the 2-0 home defeat? If so it made no difference we were 1-0 down and we would not have scored if we had played until midnight.
-
We just signed a Croatian should we have avoided it in case the Balkans kicks off again. Perhaps we should avoid signing Germans, perhaps Morgan is a risk in case Napoleon is resurrected, no Italians in case the Romans invade, Spanish are risky as well, the Scots may invade again soon I guess, so thats Danny Fox out (OK so some positives). You really are incredible.

Don't think it would, Holloway's style is too much kick and rush, and anyway would it be good to get the experience of a relegation? If we are going to loan some players out we need them to get experience playing in a style like our own, it would be better if we could loan him to a mid table La Liga or Bundesliga team where he may still learn while way from our coaching set up. There are precious few teams outside a couple of PL teams where he would gain experience rather than game time.

It goes on all the time with many different clubs giving coaching sessions all over the country. Saints do the same to a limited extent, on the IW and also around Reading sometimes. Up here during the summer there will usually be coaching sessions by Arsenal, Chelsea, ManU at least. It is nothing like the issue with official pro football club academies such as ours in Bath which is a full-time year round set up. It has little or nothing to do with scouting for talent, more to do with engaging supporters of the clubs and getting their kids hooked on that club for life. Whether you like it or not there are probably more kids that support Arsenal or ManU in Southampton than support Saints, sad fact of life these days. Saints used to do some excellent similar coaching days for kids, both boys and girls, I think they still do, but there is no-one there really scouting and sadly it does not usually involve any players visiting in my experience, nevertheless the coaching is of a very good standard and the kids enjoy it.

Technically not true, the player's registration cannot be transferred outside of the transfer window, that's the whole point. Of course he cannot play, but the old club still officially holds his registration until the transfer window is open. OK?
-
Have we, or have we just done what we can legally do and announce the agreement?
-
Given the transfer window does not open until July 1st he probably isn't as lazy as you would think. Unless we are signing a free agent thems the rules buddy.

Oh dear, appears to be fond of wearing Santa hats. That will not go down well with some of the easily embarrassed posters on here.

We may not have invented it, but Ivan Golac was certainly one of the first. Bert Trautmann was already in England as he was a POW and Man City did not buy him, Max Seeburg played for Spurs in the 1900s and Bill Perry from South Africa played for Blackpool in the Matthews Final, but 1978 saw Golac join Ossie Ardiles and a handful of others as one of the first true foreign players to play in the English 1st Division.

So what's he going to do after tomorrow, quick visit to Ocean Village and take his missus to West Quay, job done? I didn't say it was too early, but difficult to gel with his team mates when they are on holidays in various parts of the world for another 2 weeks or playing in tournaments
-
We signed J-Rod on 10th June last season, so how are we now signing players earlier? There are 2 weeks until the players come back for pre-season, how is Lovren going to gel in that time? As usual there will be a few signings in June (or in most cases announcements as the transfer window is not open yet) more will happen in July and as usual most business will happen for PL in the last few days before the window closes. I hope we get couple more in by July 1st, a RB, LB, AM and striker are the prioritised needs in my view, but I bet we will also bring in at least one in the last week.

The OP missed the trick completely trying to find all the songs with Love in them, better to look for "Lovin". The obvious one is the Spencer Davis song, Gimme Some Lovin'. The chorus bit fits perfectly with Dejan's name, just need a hook for the final line So glad we made it So glad we made it Dejan Loveren Dejan Loveren Dejan Loveren Every Day

In the 1960s I don't think I even knew what a Brazilian was. So how is Window Cleaner related to Raul Sanchez?
-
No it isn't. You are the only one who has ever used it. It is pathetic and insulting. Pinocchio is Phil Thomson, always has been always will be. If you want to use his nickname its The Sherriff (or whatever that is in Spanish, El Sheriffo or whatever).

Another reason TalkSport is such b0ll0cks!!

Not only that but the data is provided by Opta, so can't even blame Bloomberg. -
He should go on loan to Spain, Germany or Italy with a top division club where he can improve his football rather than to a Championship team where he will only get game time and not develop his skills. Too many PL players go on loan to the Championship instead of taking the overseas route.
