I think we've seen the last of the front sweeper role at Saints now that Frazer has been released. It seems like MP does not think having a front sweeper is suited to our pressing game. I am hoping that we will revert to the WM Formation this season.

Well it wouldn't be a transfer window without Alpine throwing his toys out of the pram. In your post. Why did you make a list of players and then refer to England. It was implied even if not explicit. Anyway, England qualified for both youth tournaments this summer and won diddly squat. I actually think Peter Taylor has more coaching ability than many, but you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Players are selected from clubs that have no decent coaching ability, and players from teams who do have good coaching are played out of position or fitted into a system that doesn't suit or play in midfield when we bypass them by playing hoofball. English Clubs need to bring in more foreign coaches in the short term, not just to coach our youngsters but also to coach our coaches. If the FA could see this now then maybe in 10 years things might be different. Won't happen.

They will have had to up their offer, or as the article says change the payment options (presumably more up front). Unless Celtic accept the offer then Cardiff cannot speak with the player.
