Colonel Mustard, in the study, with the haemorrhoid cushion.
-
How he'll fit into the side? Ummmm, he's a goalkeeper. Shall we draw you a diagram, Sherlock?

Kick-ins instead of throw-ins: a potential rule change!

Nice. Back to proper football. None of this possession bollocks. "Get it in the fucking mixer!" -
What's that ball made of? It wobbled all over the place. Great strike though. Looks like he's finding his feet now.

Give me a Saints team playing high press, attacking football, made up of the best up-and-coming players from around Europe, mixed with a couple of experienced pros. Solid cup runs, firmly in the mix for the 8-12 table finish. I'll be very happy Saints fan. Quite happy with the #pathway model. Hope we get this guy onboard.

He probably missed it. (Wiv me? Geddit? Eh? C'mon, it's pretty good.)

Run like a cheap Airbnb. (Thought I'd modernise.)

Hopefully the Man City kid is able to step up and claim the no 1 spot. Tough thing to do, but Tino managed it. (Of course it's a little different with a 'keeper). I have this hopeful fantasy that we'll sell McCarthy and bring in the polish dragon guy.

I'm concerned about this signing. Not for any reasons of ability, purely for the potential songs. I foresee an issue: Presumably he doesn't 'Fuckin hate Pompey, arrrghhhhh!'
-
4 goals 2 assists in the PL. From 30 games. He's our 3rd best #10, but still awful. No pace, little creativity. Sums up the attacking dross we've signed in recent years. But as per my previous post: to make up numbers it probably makes sense to keep him.
-
He's awful. However, if reports that Redmond, Djenepo and Theo are being moved on are true, it probably makes sense, on some quantum level perhaps, to keep him. Much as it pains me to say. Because he's awful.

40% paycut and loan to Turkish second division team. Win:win.
-
Good points! I vaguely remember the game: must've blocked out the details. That back 3 and keeper: how did we end up with that carcrash?!! (Off topic I know, but still...)
-
The defence for that goal! 😄 Like watching Saints.
-
I'd be happy with this.

They go soggy when you dunk them.

I'm hopeful, based on: - The ex-Brentford guy being involved. Player recruitment and trading there has been exceptional - The multi-club vision. We don't seem to be in the hands of a 'Burnley style, debt-based no apparent plan or reason' owner. Of course, they have to deliver, and this window is their first chance to show us their mettle. I'm also impatient and want to see some progress. NOW! It is amusing seeing some of the negative comments on here already.

That'll raise a debate as to whether French League 2 is a higher standard than English League 2! Agreed though. A cheap option as a backup, out on loan (presumably with a recall option) and potential sale fee down the line. Seems sensible.

Raoul Moat? (Or will I get shot for saying such a thing?)
-
The away kit sounds appropriate - watching Saints last season made a few of us sick.
-
Maybe we should hire Burnley's goalkeeping coach? They do seem good at developing keepers.
-
Would make a nice change from the white flags.
-
That's tragic. I have a sibling and mate both battling stage 4. Fucking shitty disease. Wish him all the best!

That's lovely boy.
