Thats the thing - don't want to arse about replastering. Going to repaint the door surrounds as well; will have a Look tomorrow on how easy they might come off....

Redecorating. The skirting boards are covered in about 30 years of chipped, repainted (badly) **** paint. Want to get them back to wood (or as close as I can) and paint with hard-wearing gloss or satin (don't care which - as long as it will last). Would rather strip chemically: heat guns are a pain in the arse. Looking for advice on: Which stripper to use Which paint to finish with What'd reckon?
