Newcastle 4-2 Southampton // Post-Match Reaction
Hedgehog replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Fox rubbish. Referee did us no favours, and is Ramirez the new Guly? 3 points against QPR is a must! -
Goal line technology can not come soon enough
-
F me just realised we are below Reading!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
When is Ramirez going to start justifying his price-tag?
Hedgehog replied to Sheaf Saint's topic in The Saints
Perhaps we need a poll, who is the worst Saints player Guly or Ramirez. For F sake give both players a break, they both have talent, and perhaps they try taking that 1 more player on than they need to, but then again Puncheon and LLanna do the same. Things will eventually click. -
Had a quick look at one of Wigans forum sites, like the comment towards end from one of their fans regarding AFs comment after United game. Their fans on the whole still seem positive about staying up, and they dropped 2 points at home. bit of a reversal where they saw us as being strong and quicker than them, exactly what i thought they were when they beat us as St Marys. How our team has changed in that respect. Shame about our sloppy defending. http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=558&fid=516&sty=2&act=1&mid=2113297517

Once again the transfer window has not thrown up any real shocks, about time they stopped this stupid system. As for Saints what players did we want in that would make that much of a difference? I think the squad, and with current standing in the Premiership, is more than capable of staying up. There are a few more teams worse than us to get relegated. The summer is the time to make your signings and have time to bed them in. Redkrapp has splashed the cash, as per normal, and again I think he will fook up, and take another team down,

He wanted to remain anonymous, but then expected everyone to know him, can't have it both ways. Perhaps if he had handled the situation better himself then he may have been treated differently.
-
Andy Townsend and Alan Shearer, can't ever remember them mentioning that they once played for us when they talk on the telly. Perhaps i have missed the fact.
-
Just watched the clip, what a pussy the ball-boy looks, give him an oscar

What's this got to do with Saints? Whilst on the subject why do certain threads get locked when surely you could just let them run their course, who ever goes to page 2. And lets face it nearly all subjects can be covered under the same thread. It seems people start a thread with little to differentiate between those that are already going, some get locked others not? what's the decision process?

Is what someone said at work when a piece of machinery was not doing what it should do. This is what I think of SFC at the moment, perhaps you had to be there to appreciate what he meant, but i understand the sentiment.
-
Just a question that may have been answered elsewhere but do we know what was said by Nigel when he got his job here, and did he pass any comment on Pardews sacking that got him the job. Still think it's wrong sacking Nigel.
-
I agree with you, but some may say it was NC who picked the team, and therefore he is responsible for dropping players or getting rid. They always say no one man is bigger than the club, but obviously this was in the days before NC and the Chelsea chairman. We need someway of showing our feelings, but can't think how this can be achieved without affecting the players, perhaps if everyone were to boycott the food and drink kiosks for the rest of the season?
-
F***ing poor defending, and too many passes backwards and side wards. You are not going to score by keeping on passing and going backwards for hell sake!
-
Is it okay for Saints players to dive and cheat?
Hedgehog replied to the stain's topic in The Saints
Is it not possible he just fell over, and was given a penalty by a poor refereeing decision. How many times have you seen players fall over and the comment has been they haven't the right studs, if any on their boots. Clyne is one of our players who seems to just slip/fall over when just about to kick the ball. If it happens up field nothing is said. Also look at how many free kicks are given nowadays when no contact has been made. Unfortunately for Villa this happened in their penalty area. -
I too was wondering how Crouchie laid the ball down. Briefly saw it on MOTD and it looked liked he controlled it with both arms. Could be completely wrong after all the beers I had.
-
Besides Le Tiss, Antti Niemi, what a goalkeeper he was!

So do we postpone the New Years day game at home as I am sure there will be no buses etc. running. Would be best if Boxing day and New Years day games were canceled every year with poor transport available. Let all the people providing transport and the footballers have a day off. Waiting for all the what about the nurses etc. etc. posts to follow

A thirty four year old, we do not want. Would he take the place of Morgan or Jack, don't think so. Adam or Gaston again no, unless injured. He would not walk straight into the team, and for me should not. Why pay a squad player at best, well past his time, this would not be showing intent but stupidity. We have Ward Prowse on the sidelines to cover. Definitely a NO from this pundit.
-
But if you turn up in person at the ticket office this doesn't apply?
-
Just had another thought, so what happens if you visit in person? They push the same button to upgrade your season ticket, but you don't get a printed ticket. What a F'ing waste of ones time for the same outcome! Madness in my mind.
-
Think this is pretty disgusting, and seeing the other replies when they don't have to send out a ticket and just update your card. Could understand if they had to pay P+P, but for an automatic transaction with no personal interaction they are taking the P big time!
-
Nope i posted earlier that Fonte was embarrassed and tried to get the Kingsland to applaud not boo. Fonte looked embarrassed as hell, and that was how I felt. LLanna, Lambert and Ramirez are just as guilty of losing possesion, wasteful passing yet nothing is said. And if all the people who boo Guly is for the Portsmouth goal, I am glad it wasn't LLanna who had made that error, would he be treated the same? I think not!
-
Well said RedWillie. Fonte was upset by the booing of a team mate, and was trying to get the Kingsland to start applauding not booing. Not only does booing affect the player being booed, but can affect the whole team.
-
Why did we buy him if he can't get a game? If NC picks the team as some say, and NC bought him, why does he not get a chance? Totally confused, and will be even more if Nigel starts moaning if he goes off in January to the African cup and the fact that we are short of cover up front. Why did we not keep Billy Sharp?
