Problem is as I see it that Pardew (who is still our manager ATM) thought that the DOF role was only good to help with transfers/agents and sorting that side out. Given the fact that KK signed some abysmal players at Newcastle and one of the reasons why they bought in a DOF so he couldnt buy any more duds I can't see KK being any good here apart from as you say PR.

Sorry to keep picking on your posts but thats a bit mental isn't it given that AP tried everything he could to keep him!!! Was it AP fault that Stern's agent got him a move to a division higher....BWP was also moved on a division higher and can you tell me what BWP did here to keep him?
-
So you do think he is a good manager for this league but not good enough to sort out our problems? Please don't bring Lowe into this its pointless and done to death.....even in your post you could see the errors in the ways of loveable old rosey cheeks and its still only 10 games not 10 years thats what most people are saying its not blind faith its too early given all the crap he inherited. I don't follow Pardew blindly and think he is getting near the point of losing the goodwill and faith if he doesn't deliver in the next few months. Fans are fickle...there are plenty on here who change there allegance from week to week. There have been massive improvements in the squads ability, some of the football against Rovers was quality -I still feel physically sick at that last goal as its one too many for me. But AP needs to sort out the width and pace and quick. I believe we all want results...another relegation would finish off many.
-
Well he has scored more than Saga this season ;-)
-
At the fans forum AP stated that we could not solely rely on Papa to be the only striker with pace.

DJ Campbell can't be that attached to Leicester...wasn't he at Blackpool last year....good dive for a penalty?
-
You are the one talking ****** and you can't even see your double hypocracy....can you show me JP previous triumphs as opposed to a manger that has actually won promotion and managed in the Prem? So being dignified is enough to keep someone in a job...can you show me where Pardew hasn't been then? Your post it far to generalistic....I never called for JP to be sacked....I never wanted him in the first place and wanted Pearson to be given the chance - however I still renewed my ST and continued to support JP and the useless Wotte. I am still supporting Pardew until I feel he has been given enough time to turn things around. I will look forward to your posts if and when Pardew turns it around...you wont be a hypocrite will you?

Yeah like his time at Reading and West Ham showed....
-
Scoring goals? In a side that creates very little he is our top scorer with 6. He wins 90% in the air and directs them to teammates and not just anywhere....shame some of them are too slow or lazy to get beyond him. I am a big fan of his as he is exactly what this team needs.....shame we have no supply to help him. He has a very good football brain...after watching BWP its sheer joy.

How the **** can you talk about stability when the previous manager to them was booted out after doing what he was bought here to do. The club was finally on the up and together and of course he is such a bad manager he has been a disaster since! Of course the usual numpties will say it was financial...yep correct we actually bough in 4 Dutchmen as replacements and put 2 coaches on gardening leave. Who shall we bring in Mourinho or Mickey Adams?
-
Not next week he got sent off for 2 bookable offences..the second was kicking the ball away at a free kick!
-
No he only sent them to himself....

That would be the Colchester that were near the top of the table when their manager left not a team that had suffered 2 relegations. That would be the Charlton who stuck with a manager who never won a game in 20 yet you want sacked in 10 despite only losing 3. That would be the Harry Redknapp that did such a good job here? The only case here where we improved after a manager was sacked was WGS and look how long that took him to get us going! Have we learnt nothing from Gray, Sturrock, Wigley, Dodd, Gorma, JP, Wotte?? I am not saying that AP should be stuck with blindly but we have to give him time and the chance to turn this club around. We are in League 1 with a Premiership class manager who has his faults but we are improving, once he can get past that no pace and no wingers in the side set up we will get better I am sure.
-
A manager that knows what he is doing as proved at Spurs and Wolves...oh yeah....all those clubs been queueing at his door since getting the sack. You really need some therapy.
-
There were 3 or 4 - Lambert put one just over, 'scored' one, two went to the goalie. Does that not highlight our issue though that our main threat of crosses comes from the right-back?
-
I think anyone who has been regularly will tell you that has been the issue right from the start its so evident. Even Pardew at the fans forum admitted it was an issue - why hasn't it been addressed? I think because our squad of useless never have beens has swelled so much that we cant get anyone in until we get a few out so stuck with what we have. We will continue to struggle until its addressed - we may have to wait until January. Until we can cross the ball closer to the goalline we will not create much at all - pinging in crosses from 3-040 yards out will fail 90% of the time as the defenders get too much time to see it off.
-
Replaced by? so if he does not work after 10 games then sack him.....then another manager 10 games and sack him......4 managers a season again then...great stuff.
-
I watched him at the open training session the other day - he did the first part but as soon as the 6 a side games started he went off with one of the other trainers. I think probably a couple of weeks away at least as he will need a few reserve games first.
-
Truth hurts I suppose.
-
But then again it might have been all to do with an attention seeking troll?
-
Yeah if only we had signed Junior Agogo......
-
Fair points but I thought Mills was bought on to give us that protection on the left with his pace as Holmes is not that quick it backfired big time. Had we not doubled up down the line and the guy wouldnt of been forced inside and hit it the git. Problem is we went too defensive for me and Holmes would of given us an outlet that Mills doesn't at the moment - Wotton was enough defensive.
-
If you constantly get whacked in the back and no support from a pathetic ref..you just start to put yourself about but get penalised would you not look a bit ****ed off? He did as much as he could do in the circumstances given that he has very little support or quality ball to feed off. When he got one we scored. How anyone can question signing him(not aimed at you) is beyond belief but then again there are some who think we should of kept Wotte the equivalent of Captain John Smith of the Titanic almost relegated or sunk wherever he has been!
-
At last someone who knows what they are talking about....if you watch our crosses they come in from 25-40 yards out which gives the big lumps of centre halves plenty of time to see the cross coming. The second goal was a result of James actually getting to about 15 yards out which Lambert 'scored'.
-
So a player makes 2 goals and is ****e...god there are some real cretins on this forum!!! He held the ball up and waited for support - he flicked headers into players paths and ran the line superbly. Jeesh I can't believe some of you ever go to watch a game.
