As the poster was unsure about his source its unlikely to be true as well ;-)
-
No they said it was too expensive....going by their other programmes it would be bloody awful anyway. Since coming back the music and programmes have been awful and having stuck with them for a while cant bear it now and have gone to Heart and Wave for local news.

Watched him last season against our reserves for Bristol.....was superb and destroyed our defence...not thats hard mind. Him and Brooker were the ideal pairing but agree with the other poster we need pace!
-
What has this got to do with Saints? I couldn't give a rats arse about them and think all the posts on here about them are really sad and obsessed!
-
what a stupd post...where does it say he doesn't ? why can't he voice his concerns on a Saints forum?
-
Well mine works out at £12:50ish a game - to watch Eastleigh costs a £10 so no I dont think we have been done. I fully understand your concerns about player signings as I voiced exactly that this morning. I am glad we seem to have addressed the Asst manager and backup staff today which will allow AP more time.

Back working in the docks with my mate.

New Saints Player...not a signing though!
Give it to Ron replied to Give it to Ron's topic in The Saints
I fully understand that and no-one is disregarding the situation we were in a few weeks ago. That does not mean that we can put aside our worries since or for the future. We still have to be prepared for the first game and we are not even close with the squad we have. We are one tackle away from having to recruit raw inexperienced players like Lancashire that are not up to it. We have no pace, width or power in the team. One concern for me still is why no backroom staff have yet been appointed. How many managers take over without bringing anyone with him? We are 2 weeks on and apart from Harding not equipped to overcome the -10 points early that will build the momentum to let us have a good season. Apologies if this comes across as negative it just this forum gives us the voice to air our concerns it does not mean we do not support the new regime and are not grateful - its just we want to build on the decisions we saw early on. We appear to have it right off the pitch now with new ST prices etc and dont want to fall into the old ways of not investing on it. -
So he hasn't been released by Colchester then.... How many games has Ifil played at a decent level? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philip_Ifil Murty http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graeme_Murty

RIP Sir Bobby...in football the word legend is used far too often but he truly was one. I read his autobiography last year and it was superb, you dont get to manage clubs as big as he did without being special. Will be sadly missed in the footballing world.....commiserations to his family.

http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1739008,00.html With quite a few of us getting worried about lack of signings this was not exactly what I wanted to see on the OS

So you would prefer someone that has been released from MK Dons who were playing in what division...as opposed to Murty who would of been playing for Reading in the CCC last season and was their captain? Mind you we haven't signed either of them yet so waste of time this....but its Friday.
-
In one reserve game he was put up front against a very physical Bristol side.....after being clattered twice he went into a big sulk and virtually hid for the rest of the game.
-
Thats the equivalant of the easy easy chant v Leeds ;-)
-
whatever.....if its that important to you.
-
Yep he has......confirmed on SSN just now for that git Warnock.
-
So he had 1 good game against Man Utd reserves and he is world class....think those tablets for your bad leg are affecting your judgement! Now if only he had Carsten Janker to cross the ball to....
-
Disagree no better than Boyle. We need players with pace and skill and an ability to pass to our players. Smith couldn't even get in Millwalls first team he was a reserve team player that was his level.
-
Completed ....the fares are extortionate for such a small crossing compared to Dover-Calais.
-
.....of course no-one on here has ever left a job for more money ;-) Loyalty is for fans not for players.
-
Wel I was basing this on the article that said he was spending too much time on the phone and talking to agents and not enough time on the training ground.
-
Its not the playing staff I am a bit concerned about but his backup team. I thought when AP was appointed he would of got his right hand man sorted very quickly as he cant do everything on his own.
-
So you are a very sad deluded person or else how would you know? Surely you are not a sheep just following the bigotted view? Personally I do not think they should rejoin the club and continue on their own.

Well as the friendly was announced way after we got to he final many of us had already arranged our tickets etc. so were not going to waste the chance of watching our cricket team to watch a meaningless friendly.
