  1. I am sure GM will be balanced in his assassination of the preffered bidder..if we get one. Expect addresses, telephone numbers and how much they earnt last year in the first 20 minutes of it being announced. ;-)
  2. Are you serious? How much would it of cost 12 months ago and how much now? Does SISU ring a bell?
  3. But that wasnt posted as a rumour and you know that, it had quotes from Fry etc and you posted that on here without a link knowing who had posted that and where it had come from. Well done you and Swanie had me going lets I just hope you are wrong and we have a club.
  4. Turn your ****ing phone off and wait for official confirmation from the proper source you are making yourself look a right plum.
  5. True but there were quotes attibuted to Fry - I went in search of these on usual places and couldnt find a thing anywhere. This comes from Carsten Janker poster so guess he will have his box of tissues and trousers round his knees thinking he has us all jumping....great fun.
  6. No he hasnt will give you a copy of the thread the other day that was nearly 90% bull when I find it. I sincerely hope this is true to form. Here you are From 606 (rocketswanie who I believe has posted here before) 1. Fry is making money everyday that we are in admin so the "buyers" would need to pay a fee for his work too, fact not guess work 2. Option of concerts to make money have been wiped after residents within the area petitioned against it for noise. 3. The 2 bids recieved, thats right just 2 bids placed, have fallen way short of the valuation. 4. The highest offer recieved is £3.8m 5. The club actually fear that they will go under in days and not weeks! 6. Le Tiss has made an offer but it has lots of "if's" included which have put the offer out of the window 7. Fry was quoted as saying they can only hope that someone who has more money than most, comes in with an offer as it is likely that those who are making offers will not be able to put any money into the team or current squad meaning likely relegation to league 2 straight out as they wont have the resources to make the club stable for league 1. 8. Fry has a footballing friend who has shown an interest but is put off by the work All the above are true facts. Im not going to share how I know but trust me when I say my/your/our beloved club could be more likely to fold than to take part in any League next year, unless as we feared someone comes in with the offer we need to get this club off the floor in the next 24hours. I believe this to be correct.
  7. Profit would be good..... My heart hit my boots....its just coming back up and trying to digest what that means.
  8. People called Rasiak and Stern useless lazy lumps but they scored plenty for us! As we know there is not the gulf between CCC and League 1 that there is between CCC and Prem but we will need to do what no manager has apart from Pearson...that is bring in suitable players for the division we are in. Lucketti, Perry and Wright were exactly what we needed, Pericard failed but can see why he was loaned given his size. We need to get our squad sorted almost as soon as we have the gren light with a board - we cannot waste another pre-season like the last few years. Thats why I would like Wotte replaced or someone else bought in alongside like Cotteril and Boothroyd they have contacts aqnd know what to buy in this division. Apart from Size who has Wotte bought in that was of any help?
  9. Funnily enough Nick thats exactly what we have had all season, really since big Cedric went we have not had the physical presence up front or elsewhere. If you look at the make up of our Ressies most are very good technical players but none have that extra muscle needed to compete when it gets physical. Paterson isn't exactly the robust centre forward but the best we have and will do Ok if treated better this season. We do have pace in Thomson and White etc but not very strong. Football is a game of opinions...I thought last night was a very physical game...others didn't fair play. I still believe to succeed next season we will need to be physically stronger defensively, a good right back(Fish/Molyneux at left back), Lloyd/Gillet plus one other battler in the middle and pace out wide. We need a big lump up front who can battle and win the ball in the air. 90% of successful teams have that set up in the lower divisions.
  10. I would like to keep the grey kit but realise that IF we get new owners they will get loads of revenue from a new kit that will help pay staff, wages, loans taken out to secure our future.
  11. Or its not enough and we go into liquidation or when the Jackson money falters and the samew happens.
  12. Having just watched that match.....we had better get some more Wottons in than Lallanas! Physical, pace, strong tackling and managers that had plans for their sides.... The sooner we start rebuilding the better Mr Wotte or whoever because its going to be tough for the delicate little flowers we have.
  13. I dont believe a word Wilde says Nick....have a good sleep lets hope for some good news tomorrow- finally when we can put all this to bed.
  14. Do we know they did not demand we not take on any more loans etc....could the loveable rogue not of lied to save his 'investment'? Desperate men do desperate things and going by his decisions this season I wouldnt put it past him to make yet another that really ****ed off the bank they had enough and pulled the plug.
  15. Did Barclays force the decisions back in March/April to go the stupid Dutch route that caused lower gates and revenue? We have been through all this before....over and over again...
  16. Probably because like 90% of the Saints fans Barclays had lost faith in the board and management to make any decision and get it right! They had lost enough and didnt trust old loveable old rosey cheeks to lose anymore going by falling gates, league position, abysmal managerial decisions and use of loans and wage bill this season. Its just you 10% that refuse to see it ;-)
  17. I have given up any hope that either will come to fruition - reading Salz in the Echo doesnt fill me with much hope either. I think we are in BIG trouble and unless the council come to our rescue think we will liquidate sooner rather than later.
  18. Billy has been the pick of the bowlers in the games I have seen at the Rosebowl this season. Cork and Tremlett were disappointing.
  19. I was listening to Mike Osman on the radio at the recent David Hughes testimonial and he was really angry at the posters on here that accused him amd Lawrie of wanting compensation at the MLT/Channon/Lawrie night. Post 72 looks a bit naughty as well on here. Although there have been a few cases taken to court not all have been satisfactory. http://www.simkins.co.uk/ebulletins/lerSlandernotLibel.aspx
  20. My deepest sympathies to his family. RIP
  21. I used to have a thing for Sheena Easton early 80's. Lulu us still a bit tasty.
  22. I heard the English RFU are going to fund Pompeys new stadium to allow them to host it. ;-).
  23. A very inciteful post thanks.... I agree really but do think its a possibility if we get decent buyer. Coppel is a miserabable b8stard so would fit in well here!
  24. IF we do get a buyer and have a club going forward is Coppell now an option seeing he has resigned? New challenge not far to move house, I wonder if Surmans move will now happen.
