Yep my lad is away on a school trip and is currently on the top floor of the Eiffel Tower...he has just phoned and hates heights!!! They have a big firework event tonight to watch.

No what most of us find a bit rich is Ponting whingeing about time wasting and sportsmanship. He forgot about the Aussies doing the same in 2005 when the 12th man came on with a towel to Glen McGrath!!! How can anyone who chose to bowl underarm to save getting beaten by a 6 off the last ball talk about sportsmanship! -
Ernie Didn't Two Ton Ted the baker pass on the message? I know he was told to....watch out for his pork pies ;-)

The Japanese have a word in quality circles called Kaizen meaning small steps....so to start with I would love us to ram the words of the Orient chairman back down his throat. Then onto Milan in CCC then onto our beloved Fishy ones again in the Prem. -

Something I have been trying to work out...why are his odds 2/7 unless its just fans flooding on him but the bookies stand to lose quite a bit if true. I can't believe he would come back he has done it here and moved on to far higher level what would be the incentive? On the other side no pressure, out of the limelight in League 1, can rebuild his team slowly. He appears settled in the area, wife apparently loves it in Warsash, he may fancy the challenge again as he is bored? The Skates look a club in trouble with loads appearing unhappy like Crouch and Campbell and no-one else near here tempts him? I am not sure how I feel...had a few girlfriends that were never as good second time around but after Wotte/JP/Dodd/Gorman I would enjoy the post match comments again. I also would love to see a squad thats fit and not knackered after 2 runs up the wing in 10 minutes. -
New Friendly - Hearts 25th July St.Marys 3PM

Yep at least 2 ;-) I can't wait for my first Lords final....been to several football at Wembley and of course Millenium but my first cricket one. -
If you think we could of kept hold of Drew instead of him going to a Premiership side for god knows how much more salary and the chance to play 2 divisions higher then you are way off. McG wanted to go back to Nottingham to be near his family for months...there is no way he would of stayed to play in League 1 unless we paid him silly money.

Possibly here for the big cricketing event tomorrow at Hoglands Park.

Same day as Hants v Sussex Final at Lords so a few missing from the usual crowd. -
All those fools that will get a free Ajax ticket and you won?t because you haven't renewed in time?
-
The family club that has gotten through how many managers in the last few years so those doors are well oiled! Why should he be rewarded for failing? Why should he get a job over Stuart Henderson who has done a fantastic job here in the past few years? For me its a great start....recognise where the weak link is and get rid.

Ok thanks...at least Jones can get a good nights sleep before counting all our ST money ;-)
-
Didnt the AD contract expire on the 30th June?
-
Block 34 is wings. I think reading the OS you will be offered unused ST seats - after the 31st any not renewed then go onsale.
-
But shocking business for Markus...thats the point Robbie would you be happy if someone just cost you a years salary for one weeks work?
-
Just a thought....do you think the lower prices are to entice people into the wings so they can open up blocks 1-2 etc? I am chuffed mine has gone from £370 to £288 in Kingsland North and have a great view, decent blokes around me and close enough to the Northam without the hassle of standing with my dodgy leg.
-
Thats a pretty decent reward for one weeks work! His contract expired on the 30th June. He gets the sack on the 9th July with a years pay off now I call that poor business at any level.
-
I wonder if Mr Jones is going to sleep well tonight...he awards a year contract to Wotte and a week later sees him get the sack. Now if you were running a business how would you view that decision?
-
Have you got a really big box of tissues?
-
Lincoln City £335 Swindon £399 I will bet you a crate of beer we sell more than 5k

Ajax Friendly Fixture The Club is also putting tickets on sale for the pre-season friendly versus Ajax on Saturday 18th July. Ticket prices are: Adults £10 Young Adults/Juniors £5 Seniors/12 and Unders £0 free for ST who renew

Been a couple of years since I sat there but got really fed up with the constant up and down all th time.Toilets, sweets, drinks, fidgets etc. The view is fine, atmosphere OK just dont get a seat on the end of a row. We now sit in kingsland North and get the best of both - plenty of singing and atmosphere but us oldies can sit and watch the game in comfort with our f;lask and blankets.
-
If its any help I am in Block 34 and that treated as Wings.
