Problem I had with it was we were 1 up and didn’t need him to take one in last 5 and risk anything like we did. If he needs to take one when we are winning comfortably then great his job is defence and he is bloody good at it no need for him to leave his position when it tight

How many saves did McCarthy make tonight? I think Tino got a knock early he seemed to be limping a bit and got rough treatment early on. Romeu outstanding, ball didn’t stick up top enough but worked hard good subs I think Lyanco will be some player for us at the end McCarthy dithered he read it got across took charge and good pass forward.
