  1. Maybe a little harsh but he's a fantastic option to have on the bench.
  2. He's also a complete ****, Bruce probably wants rid. He wouldn't speak to Cisse when he was at Sunderland, they passed the ball to eachother something like six times during the season with four of those being centres...
  3. Harewood and Lambert would be quite some strike force in this league.
  4. Davis Butterfield - Fonte - Seaborne - Harding Hammond - Schneiderlin Oxo-Chamberlain - Puncheon - Lallana Lambert I'd like the see the three behind Lambert play more fluidly and changing positions more often than they did yesterday.
  5. Without a doubt it comes from Pardew, we hardly every play the ball about between our defenders.
  6. Who plays more than his fair share of hoofstastic long balls. I'm fairly certain the coaching staff are instructing the centre backs to just clear their lines and not to **** about with it.
  7. Fulham or West Ham would be decent.
  8. Any highlights about? wouldn't mind seeing Oxo-Chamberlains goal again.
  9. Looks like we've found our new Lloyd James, Paul Telfer, Jermaine Wright... I am pretty sure if we had signed Seaborne from a championship club where he was highly rated he wouldn't get half as much stick as he does, almost like people had pre-conceptions that he would be **** because they wanted the lad from Coventry instead. Fonte our super cultured centre back hoofs it long time and time again, yet he still has this classy ball playing defender tag, it's ridiculous. I'm undecided on Seaborne, I've seen every game he's been involved in and as a back up for Jaidi I think he's fine. From what I've seen of Martin i'd say Seaborne is a far better choice, even against Eastleigh Martin was terrible on the ball. On quite a few occassions he took the ball from Bart and under no pressure just hoofed it straight out of play aiming for one of out five foot nothing centre backs.
  10. I have just bought 4000 cans of chopped tomatos. Should keep me going for a while.
  11. What on earth are you going to do with 50kg's of kidney beans anyway? That's a ridiculous amount. Infact this whole thread is just bizarre.
  12. Apparently the deal involves Stephen Ireland coming the other way valued between 8 and 10 million if rumours are to be believed. 15m + Ireland is just crazy for a player like Milner.
  13. I expect Milner and Young to leave now. Either that or Milner is being sold and MoN wasn't going to be given much of the money to re-invest. He's a clever bloke, he knows 25m for Milner is ridiculous money, he wouldn't quit just because they're selling him.
  14. Very true, it's all well and good doing that now but at some point the football bubble will burst and it will be back paying customers being the sole income. If Cortese or any other chairman ****es off their fans too much and say another recession hits they will start to notice the problems then. Personally I think attendances will be up, shirt sales will be up and pies/beers etc will be up. Most fans are quite fickle when it comes to football, if we're tonking teams every week the stadium will be full no matter what the chairman's doing, it's in the long run that I feel we might start to notice problems if the club keep up this attitude.
  15. Well it's the same with anything. You name a semi decent product and there will be a forum full of people discussing and criticizing the product, owner, developers etc. It's not like this is a football only thing it happens with everything.
  16. ---------------Bart Butterfield - Seaborne - Fonte - Harding ---- Hammond - Schneiderlin --- Puncheon - Lallana - Dickson ----------- Barnard I think we need to ditch the 4-4-2 while Lambert is out, get back to dominating games on the deck and outplay a far weaker side. Seaborne needs some games to get his fitness up and Jaidi can't be expected to play every game.
  17. Boycotting shirts and pies is all well and good but I really can't understand how a football fan could suggest stop going to games, it's a passion for a lot of people not something you can just stop doing on a whim.
  18. I take it you've never been on an Apple forum then.
  19. Had one of his best games in a Southampton shirt pushed forward against Southend, then against Oldham he was equally good.
  20. If we're going to play 4-2-3-1 we need one more player to play in the '3', pushing Schneiderlin forward is an option but I'd rather we get a winger in and move Puncheon or Lallana inside.
  21. Cheapest i've found is £50 Had found a way of going through Kings cross for £40 but the prices seem to have shot up for that route.
  22. The pink had screen caps from Sky as their only pictures of the game.
  23. You tart, if you're not on the wind up then well you've probably got issues.
  24. We would have had three points if Hammond could score with his head, lets not go laying all the blame at Pardews door. Ridiculous post.
  25. I wasn't very impressed with Puncheon's contribution yesterday, when I saw he was up against Molyneux I thought he would have the beating of him every time. He had a lot of the ball but apart from one shot did nothing with it, Dickson got in some telling crosses from which Hammond should have scored, Puncheon just seemed to slow the play down every time he got on the ball, Lallana when he came on was far more direct which we where crying out for.
