  1. He didn't have a bad game but our whole games was so negative due to having no pace on the wings. Holmes and James could both cross the ball but neither of them could stretch the game at all. If we had Waigo, Antonio, Lallana or Puncheon out wide instead of James/Holmes we would have won IMO.
  2. And two new knees.

    Bart

We would be better off getting someone in on loan for a season. Then after we've been promoted look for a new keeper, someone like W******d from Coventry who we can stick with for the next 5-6 years in the Championship and Premiership. Signing a permanent keeper now would be foolish, relying on Forecast would be a disaster.
  4. Again this is all common sense stuff and it's exactly what I'd do but if someone was to complain that a dead badger was moved five yards rather than taken away the subby who moved him would be in all sorts of **** with the office monkeys at the council. I'm not exaggerating either, they're a nightmare to sub-contract for.
  5. The biggest problem is where do you put the dead badger? sure as **** can't just dump it in someone else garden or a bin. As soon as you move the badger it becomes your problem and you have to deal with any repercussions.
  6. If it was me I'd just kick it out the way oviously BUT I can however totally understand why a council work would be hesitant to do anything outside their job description, the amount of blue tape / health and safety around everything I try and do when I sub-contract for the council is ridiculous.
  7. If we hadn't conceeded that last minute goal against Milwall I am sure we'd be in the Championship now. Such a shame. Although I do agree, we left ourselves far too much to do after the start.
  8. I am a little bit worried but I've every faith we will bring in the right player or two. AI am far more worried about Bart leaving than any other players coming in at the moment, if we go into the season having to rely on Forecast even as a sub goalkeeper we're screwed if Davis gets any sort of injury or suspension at the wrong time. It would also mean Davis's position in the team is basically assured which is never a good thing, everyone needs competition. It's akin to Pulis being our only cover for Schneiderlin and Hammond. I don't think we would have released James, Ostemebor, Thomas, Perry etc if we hadn't planned on spending some money this window, it's probably just a case of getting the best possible deals for the players we want.
  9. Stekelenburg was decent as another shout in goal.
  10. Looks like they're called the South stand and visitors terrace. www.footballgroundguide.com is good for that sort of thing.
  11. Usually behind the goal and the little terrace in the corner. They sell behind the goal and once they're gone it's the little terrace that gets sold.
  12. Now we just need Green, James, Terry, Rio, Cole x2, Lampard and Gerrard to retire. They've had there chance.
  13. Hammond. No point making a change for changes sake.
  14. He is worse than you could imagine. Moly, Pulis and Forecast are three of the worst players i've ever seen play for our reserves, they made the likes of Lancashire, Gasmi and Hatch look like world beaters they really are/where that terrible. We won't be going up automatically if Forecast has to play anymore than about ten games next season.
  15. Okay, but generally not a fan of him. If he or someone at the club explained the U-turn on a few things he wrote about in the charter and there was a more open communication policy I'd be very happy, as it is I'm not at all sure about him.
  16. Wasn't Preen included in a few of the first team squads last season? I saw Saville about five times for the reserves he was quite vocal and looked strong, saying that he never looed like he a better footballer than Lancashire.
  17. Holland had Robben. Also we're playing in the third tier of English football not the world cup.
  18. I did notice that... I think you need to have a thug like that in midfield to get the best out of the players like Schweinsteiger, Muller, Iniesta - gives them a bit of freedom. Horrible little player though, no idea how he didn't get sent off several times. De Jong was almost as bad, his karate kick on Alonso especially!
  19. Green Johnson - Terry - Upson - Gerrard Gerrard - Gerrard © - Melo - Gerrard Rooney Anelka
  20. Would be a fantastic signing, right sort of age as well IMO could do with an older head in the team. In place of Puncheon in a 4-4-2 or as well as Puncheon and Lallana in a 4-5-1 sounds good on papper.
  21. Like I said i've always had them confused because of a text based management game, that's my story anyway....
  22. Danns is a midfielder in the Lampard mould, late runs into the box and most of the time getting onto the end of things.
  23. What a numpty meant, Enyema Always get those two confused after years or trying to sign them both on FM.
  24. Good point, maybe give Hammond number eight if he wants it and Lallana eleven?
  25. Enyema Maicon - Pique - Lugano - Lahm Van Bommell - Schweinsteiger - Muller Iniesta - Forlan - Villa Bit of a cope out with the full backs, was thinking about Pereira but he hasn't been that great. Couldn't find space for Uzil, Xavi or Khedira who have been brilliant. Sneijder has been very over-rated IMO, Robben probably more important to Holland.
