  1. I've been delighted with the way they've run the club since they took over. Very professional and you can't ask for much more than that. Only need to look down the road at Pompey to see how lucky we are.
  2. Oh everyone would love a weekend in blackpool lol
  3. Yeah will probably be the same ticket setup as it was for last years united game.
  4. That is poor you should have kept it to yourself.
  5. My seat in block 41 will be a stones throw away from the pompey fans. Can't wait!
  6. I'd rather we do one over on the skates than win the jpt.
  7. Hopefully someone will make themselves a hero no matter what the score is..
  8. Just don't go in, wouldn't miss this for the world.
  9. I think Wigan away is the only ground LS hasn't been to
  10. Pm if you're struggling might be able to help you
  11. Anyone got that picture of beattie infront of the pompey fans they can link on here?
  12. I thought yesterday was his best performance in a long time. My Ipswich supporting friend said he thought Jaidi and Lambert would walk into their team and most others in the Championship.
  13. I'm not the biggest fan of Thomas but he was solid yesterday and looked dangerous going forward. James also put in a quality performance in the middle - better than Hammond imo. No point changing anything around for the sake of it.
  14. Wasn't his injury eye related? if anything the break will have helped him. It's not like he will aggravate(sp?) the injury if he plays too much.
  15. After yesterday I think Jaidi has to play as well, can't wait to see him form a partnership with Fonte. I just hope he is up to playing 180 minutes every week.
  16. Anyone know what time the draw is? I assume we're number one unless they've changed the way the draw works.
  17. I think Harding or Mills will be his only tough choice. Thomas, Jaidi and Fonte will all have to start I would have thought.
  18. Would give us more balance and leave an option on the bench to change the game. Probably right, I'm just not a huge fan of Holmes but he has done well since he came into the side would be unfair to drop him.
  19. A far cry from the January where we got rid of Skacel and Rasiak in the last few hours of the window.... If we get an attacking midfielder or a left winger in I'll be amazed at how well we've done this window. I can't see us going up this season but we're going to be smasing all sorts of records next season, if we don't walk the league questions will have to be asked of Pardew.
  20. He done the job requried, looked solid all game without being spectaular. The sort of player who will always be a 6 or 7 out of 10 when we win. At the start of the second half I was very impressed with our central midfield. Lallana, James and Wotton really bossed the Ipswich midfield. They couldn't cope with our extra man and Lallana especially really made them pay. With everyone fit I'd play a midfield three of Lallana, James and Schneiderlin with Antonio and Waigo on the wings. The only players in our side who look better in 4-4-2 are Connolly and Barnard. Even Lambert looks more dangerous on his own.
  21. Spot on - if James had put in exactly the same performance on the right he would have just been ignored. For some reason people on here are desperate for Holmes to play and praise him at ever chance. He's a very average player, although I would prefer to have him play wide left if it means Lallana can play through the middle.
  22. Want Arsenal away. Can't say how many times I wouldn't want Pompey, I love the derby games but losing again would kill me. Lets leave them for a year or two when we will be stronger.
  23. Spot on, 4-5-1 with one of James and Wotton holding with Schneiderlin and Lallana in front getting into the box at every oppurtunity would probably be more attacking than our 4-4-2 and still provide the defence with more protection. Clearly... I hope signing Barnard won't force Pardews hand into playing 4-4-2 every game. Barnard did look like he could do a job up front alone, in a different way to Lambert but I'm sure he could work up there alone. Get in a quick left winger or an attacking midfielder and we will be set.
  24. Don't want him anywhere near the squad personally. He just isn't up for it, if he cared about his career he would have scored 10-15 this season, he just doesn't care. Good riddance when he does leave.
  25. Probably just a lack of options, we've had so many players missing over the last two games.
