Says the man who's driven to the pub on two consecutive Sundays. pfft.

Brian Howard would be a fantastic signing, just what we need imo.

FM 2010 hints, tips, cheats & gems of players / tactics

This game is really annoying me. I'm in my 6th season and have a pretty awesome squad of up and coming players I've collected over the three seasons in the Prem but they've all decided they want to leave and Leibherr is accepting bids behind my back. He's spent the last two seasons trying to sell the club and having to provide cash injections. I was forced to sell Douglas Costa for 14m and only 2m of that was added to my transfer budget... Think I'll just give up now too unrealistic. -
Snowing again. Been trying to finish my last job of the year for two days now, just can't get out with this weather. Only need to do about three hours work as well, really annoying.
-
Agree with all of that.
-
I still think a defender who can pass a bit would be a priority over pace.
-
He's injured.

Indeed, still not sure Mancini is the man to take them forward. I'm sure he will command the respect of the players more than Hughes though. Could make the difference. They really should have made Hiddink an offer he can't refuse.
-
Fair play to Hiddink he can do a lot better than that shower.
-
Thomas isn't the answer at right back. Waigo done all the work for him on Saturday.

I went down last Tuesday to move my ST seat and get my Dad and ticket so we could get two together. There wasn't any space in the Northam and I had to go all the way down to block 10 of the Itchen back row to get two together as the Itchen was almost full. Reckon a lot of people will get bored of their families on christmas day and decide to walk up for this one and fill up the ground. Incredible in the space of a year we can go from only selling out to United in the cup to selling out a run of the mill home game like Exeter.

Jaidi was just as bad in possesion as Perry, strange that you single out Perry imo. Sometimes it's good just too hoof it from the back rather than **** about with it but I think if we're going to progress as a team we need a cultured ball playing defender next to Jaidi. James had a shocker and was rightly singled out for the poor performance but Hammond really didn't help, both of them looked rushed in possesion everytime they got the ball, nearly all our problems stemmed from those two not being able to retain possesion. We really missed Morgan, going into the game with James on the right infront of Thomas and Morgand and Hammond in the middle really could have made the difference, either that or we should have gone with a midfield five.
-
We shouldn't be looking at Omerod, I'd be quite upset if the best striker we can get is Omerod.
-
Why mention just Perry and James? Bart, Hammond and especially Jaidi where at fault just as much.
-
Connolly vs Oldham for me, such a natural finish.
-
Yeah, even on his wrong foot he should have hit it first time, could have been a hero.
-
Terrible player, reputation is living off one or two decent seasons and he's done nothing since.
-
Lallana layed it off to Gobern and rather than hitting it on his right he took a touch and tried to hit it with his left and lost the oppurtunity.
-
Papa Waigo was almost playing as a wing back yesterday, he was doing so much work and running for Thomas.
-
Yesterday was the first time he's been asked to play in a midfield four, after yesterday I think he's probably not ready for that role yet, more suited to playing as part of a midfield five. I'm really not sure why people are so keen to jump on his back at every oppurtunity. Better holding midfielder than Wotton Second best right back in the squad Second best right winger in the squad Still only 21 Aren't going to find many players who can do that for us in this league.

Ridiculous. I guess you have already forgotten about his performance against Walsall where he was probably our best midfielder. Pardew clearly likes him and he's going to be here to stay, I for one trust his judgement as I've said several times before James is just the new scapegoat. Having a player in the side who can play right back, centre mid and right wing to an acceptble level is very important. We won't be selling him anytime soon. Time will show Lloyd James to be a very good player, wether that's with us or not who knows.
-
Lloyd James can take a decent corner, not amazing but better than anyone else in our side. Probably our most threatening corners since Jermain Wright was in the side. Wayne Thomas was far from perfect today, if Waigo wasn't playing so deep in the first half Thomas would have been exposed, his positioning was as poor as James at times. Was two. I don't think they're that much better than us, just we didn't perform to our usual standard. Good result against Norwich but we where far from our best then as well.

Sorry I didn't write my post very well, I meant I thought we should have won before the game had kicked off. I really wasn't expecting us to get beaten like that after the last few games. Over the 90 minutes Leeds where far superior in every department.
