If someone's got a knock then go ahead and rest them, don't think we should be resting anyone so they don't pick up a booking though, who do we have on four? Harding, Jaidi and James? The only one of those I'd consider resting would be Jaidi, he's quite important to us. Harding and James we have adequate cover for. I do feel Pardew should bring off a few of the more important players after 70 minutes when we're winning 3-1. Hammond and Lambert seem to play the majority of every game, take them off once the games won rather than rest them completely.

We should only rest a first team player if they are carrying a knock imo.

Think it will be a 1-0 or 2-1. Can't see it being a massive win, the game won't be open enough for that. If we're going to thrash someone it will be an away game where teams feel they're obliged to attack and not just sit back.

Same here, enjoying this season a lot more than I thought I would. All change from the first 5-6 games of the season, pre Charlton was shocking and everything since has been great.

Totally down to how much Leibherr wants to spend. Once we're in the Premiership money is all that matters, think it would take alot more than 300m to get a CL side as well. Man City have probably spent close to that amount and they aren't exactly top four material.

Beattie would walk into any league one side and that includes ares, he'd get into most Championship sides as well, i'd be suprised if he had to drop down a league to get football. A team like Wigan, Hull or Burnley would love a striker with 100 premier league goals to his name. Nothing wrong with wanting to get a player back who impressed on loan for us. Just because it doesn't always work out doesn't mean it never will. We're desperate for a centre half or two, i'm not convinced Jaidi is anything special and at his age I doubt he'll be around much next season.

I always find Harding leaves the right winger with far too much space rather than getting touch-tight. It usually doesn't matter because he's got the pace to make up for it but he's going to get caught out before too long. The Southend winger took the **** out of him for 70 minutes before he got subbed. Lallana, Lambert and Hammond have all been a lot better than Harding, really suprised anyone is even considering him.

Morgan, James and Lallana have all improved considerably on last season now they're in a more confident team. A lot of credit has to go to Pardew for, he's really made them look like footballers. They're only going to keep improving as well. Hopefully we can keep hold of them for a while.

Cant see cork ever getting into the Chelsea team, he'd probably be quite happy to play for a club who win every week as opposed to his last four loans. He'd be perfect for us at the moment, would take a bit of persuasion but I don't see why not. Cork is the sort of player we should be going for, young and experienced in the Championship meaning we wouldn't have to replace him in the summer. There's no way Beattie would come here, he will end up Hull or someone similar. Would be a great signing though we really need cover for Lambert and I'm not sure Paterson is ready just yet. Maybe Vokes? If Leeds don't take him we should make an offer.

Hammond by far. He's just got everything you need from a midfielder in this league and he's forming a great partnership with Morgan. Hopefully those two will be the spine of our team for a few seasons. Lallana and Lambert second and third, Connolly will be up there at the end of the season if he carries on like he has been.

Despite going unbeaten in European qualification and scoring the most goals by far you think we should ditch the 4-4-1-1 that's worked so well and go back to our world cup 2006 formation that was a disaster? That doesn't make any sense.

Anything below 8th is a very poor season imo, anything below the play offs and i'll be disapointed.

Fabio Capello. We where the top scoring side in European qualification with Heskey in the side. Was close between Crouch and Carlton Cole for me, which ever one of those two finishes the season strongest will get the fourth striker spot imo. I did write assuming everyone's fully fit.

Was a strange situation, think it's happened twice with Ipswich now. Maybe it's just depressing playing for the Tractor boys. He's out of favour with Keane so should probably be available, would just be a case of wether he wanted to drop down a division for 6 months.
