It's nice to have midfielders scoring for the first time in ages. Waigo, Lallana and Hammond should get 25+ between them which is decent for three midfielders, would be nice for Schneiderlin to get a goal and start getting some confidence. If only he didn't miss that sitter against Oldham.

I really love watching Connolly play. He's just a class above anyone else in this league.
-
I actually really look forward to watching Saints play now. The last couple of years where just about drinking and socialising, now I'm really enjoying the football we play. Can't say bad results really ruin my weekend or put me in a bad mood. Far too laid back to ever really worry about Southampton.

Yeah, not in Keane's plans at all though, they seem to have about 10 very average strikers.

Group D is very strong. Wouldn't fancy playing Germany or Ghana.
-
What an easy draw. Couldn't ask for much easier than that really.

Charlize Theron is thick as pig ****. Really condescending towards the black girl as well. "Thank you, lovely lady"
-
Probably wouldn't have been allowed to play him!
-
Only endears me to Morgan more. He's gone full circle from one of the players I disliked the most last season to one of my favourites now.
-
This season was the first time we played in the 1st and 2nd round in ages.
-
Not bad for a tenner, cheaper than the last two rounds.

Antonio is a real gem in my opinion, looks a much better prospect than Mellis and he's still got a lot to learn. From a physical point if view he's got everything and he's only 19. Waigo on the left, Antonio on the right and Lallana behind Lambert must be worth a try at somepoint, can't imagine many league one defences dealing with that.

Well I bought my ticket which is in the bite size stand the day they went on general sale which was ages ago, doubt it means much tbh.
-
Hopefully we can shift some of the deadwood this window. I'd like to see Gillett, Holmes, Molyneux, Forecast, Pulis and Saganowski all sold and a few of the youngsters loaned out. Hopefully we can extend the loan deals for Mellis and Antonio. Other than that we need a new centre back and a striker in to cover Lambert.
-
It's definatly 24 but you're right about having to offer them a contract, although in Lallana's case it's fairly obvious we'd offer him a new deal. Anyone half decent just gets offered the same deal they where on so the club can get a bit of money back.
-
If he wants to stay we should keep him no doubt.
-
Don't think that was a tribunal, I think Leeds where just skint maybe even in admin at the time.
-
It goes to a tribunal, depends how good the player is. For Craine we got 400k and Leon Best was 750k. I guess for Lallana we'd get 2-3m, maybe a bit more. Like with every other club in the world, if he wants to leave we will sell him. Doesn't matter how much money a club has if a player wants to leave, just need to look at Ronaldo and United.
-
How come Lloyd James and Adam Lallan aren't on the MOTM poll? I'm not saying they where my motm but to include Antonio, Bart, Harding, Perry, Jaidi and Murty and leave them out is a bit bizarre. Schneiderlin Lallana James My top three performers from yesterday.
-
If a player under 24 leaves at the end of their contract the club gets compensation if not it's a free transfer.

27 league games left, after Exeter we will be half way through the season. We should be aiming for play offs this season, anything below 8th and i'll be really disapointed. We've shown already this season we're better than most in this league and hope Pardew strengthens again in January.

Hammond is the only one of our central midfielders who can score a goal, we'd lose alot of our attacking threat playing him deeper in the holding role. He's been one of our best players recently. Nothing against Mellis but we shouldn't be shifting our best central midfielder around to stuck him in. Ideally Pardew will bring in an experienced holding midfielder to play behind Hammond/Schneiderling and James can be used as a bit of a utility player and given some time to develop.
