  1. She works most Saturdays, it's why she wants to go to a christmas game.
  2. Are Exeter tickets on sale yet? My sister wants to go to a game over christamas so might get her a ticket for her Xmas present.
  3. I can't wait to get away from o2, not decided if i'll go with Orange or Vodafone yet. Any idea on the Vodafone price structure?
  4. You are such a bellend I might sell your ticket now.
  5. On the road just before the turning into Fleming park. There will be a load of Southampton fans there so you should find them easily.
  6. Surely they can't be that stupid / desperate.
  7. Afraid so. They got married last summer in Italy.
  8. They are married
  9. The whole team looked weak. I think after Saturday it's probably best to rest Hammond which almost forces us to stay with the 4-5-1 a Wotton and Schneiderlin partnership wouldn't be strong enoguh especially away from home. I can understand bringing Thomas in at centre half, he's a liability at full back we lose all forward momentum when the ball goes to the right side. I'd start with ----------- Davis James Trottman Thomas Harding ---------- Wotton Antonio Mellis Schneiderlin Lallana ---------- Lambert Gives Hammond, Waigo and Jaidi a rest and gives Thomas, Antonio and Mellis a chance to show what they're about again. Not too many changes and the same sort of shape we've been playing. The JPT game against Charlton might be a good time to try 4-4-2 from the start and maybe rest 2-3 different players Lambert, Lallana and Harding spring to mind, they've all played a lot of football this season. There's really no need to play a whole new 11, we'd just get stuffed and the fringe players would lose more confidence and our unbeaten run would come to an end.
  10. There are apparently rules that stop managers from playing too weak a side in the JPT, not sure how it works but there is something in place. As for playing a weakend side in the FA cup that would be ridiculous, i'd hate to go out of the cup early. I enjoy the cup games, cup draws, the upsets etc just wouldn't feel right if we went out without a fight playing a bunch of kids. Luckily I think Pardew knows keeping the momentum going is key and we will play strong sides in the next two games.
  11. Do you want us to lose our next two games and all the mommentum that goes with a winning run? Personally i'd give Hammond a rest and bring in Mellis and maybe think about giving Antonio a start. Playing the likes of Saga, Holmes, Thomas and Perry is just asking for trouble.
  12. Lallana and Lambert must have a fair amount of assists between them as well. In Lambert and Lallana we've got one of the most effective players and probably the most skilled player. Such a contrast to some of the **** we where watching last season.
  13. I really hope they do, I think he's the real deal got alot to his game for someone so young. 150-200k seems fair considering his contract position.
  14. Pitch invasion is pushing it, there where a handfull of people on the pitch for about 30 seconds. Was quite embarassing celebrating a draw with Orient like that.
  15. That's not bad at all looks like it would be a nightmare getting served. I just stuck to some little pub in Bethnal green was quite a few Southampton in there, I thought all the pubs in Orient would be rammed.
  16. Hes under 24 so won't be free
  17. Glad I didn't drink there, that's ridiculously busy. I thought the atmosphere was ok, obviously picked up after we scored but there was far too much down time before that where it was silent.
  18. Can't see it making a difference, Brighton are the sort of team we should batter at home. I'm looking forward to a win on Sky so we can hear the end of the "sky curse" which is a load of rubbish.
  19. None of our players are cup tied. Trottman was for the league cup but he's fine for these two.
  20. I'd like to see us make a few small changes. Mellis and Antonio into to replace Waigo and Schneiderlin for Bristol. Maybe try 4-4-2 from the start against Charlton see how that fares against a decent footballing side. Maybe try Thomas at right back to see how Lloydy gets on in the Wotton role.
  21. Thomas just isn't suited to right back, he not a good enough footballer, we've looked shocking every time he play right back. James' corners are a bit hit and miss, more miss yesterday but we've scored a few goal from his corners this season so we're getting a return. They're a lot more dangerous than when Lallana was taking them.
  22. Felt like a win in the end for me, we should be winning those game but a draw given the circumstances was a decent result. For the first time in a while I was still confident at 2-0. I don't think playing 4-4-2 from the start would have made a massive difference really, we just defended poorly and couldn't finish when we played 4-5-1 as soon as we went 4-4-2 we looked more of a threat with Antonio running at tired legs, Connolly looked brilliant as well, such an intelligent footballer really compliments Lambert. If we had finished one of our chances in the first half then we would have won the game no matter what formation, you just get games like that. The next league game against Brighton is massive, we need three points if we're going to get that play off spot, anything less and we lose momentum. For the Bristol game on Friday I'd like to see us stick to 4-5-1 and start Mellis and Antonio in place of Schneiderlin and Waigo. Hopefully we can get Connolly fit enough to start every week, we're going to be scoring for fun with him and Lambert together. They compliment eachother perfectly and they've hardly played together they will just keep getting better as a partnership. The only problem is having to drop one of the midfielders.
  23. We need to sign him permanently in January if at all possible. I've been really impressed with him, he's obviously still raw and needs experience but he's got all the physical attributes a winger needs. He's a quality impact player from the bench, perfect for this league. I fear if we take him on loan until the end of the season another club will come in and take him from us or he'd just end up costing a whole lot more.
  24. Really hope we can make the Antonio deal permanent, shows how some players just stagnate and need a move to kick start their career if he can't get a look in at a poor Reading side. He's looked great every time i've seen him and I'd give him a start in the JPT against Charlton see if he can make the same impression from the start of the game. Should be interesting once McLaggon is fully fit and we have a choice of Waigo, McLaggon and Antonio, those three would really scare defenders coming off the bench in the last 20. Not suprised that Pardew is a fan of Lloyd he's been one of our most improved players this season, in the last year he's gone from being a real weak link to a solid attacking full back.
