  1. Every so often a player makes it into the game that's completely fictional and made up by the various scouts. To Madiera was one of the most famous ones and last year we had Mascio.
  2. I don't think there will be any time to post them out now. Can't see it selling out on a Friday anyway so shouldn't be a problem.
  3. His contract is up in the summer, can't see him staying if he doesn't get more of a look in this season.
  4. Sounds almost as much fun as getting to the Reading ground. From Footballgroundguide.com
  5. We will be fine for the play offs as long as we keep beating the ****. If we start slipping up against any team in the bottom half from now on we won't make the play offs. Will be interesting to see if we can grind out the gritty 1-0 wins when we play badly, all good teams do it and we will have to do the same if we want to have any chance of promotion. If we keep up our current form I certainly believe promotion is within our reach.
  6. Hopefully? Don't think we should be wishing teams go into admin tbh. If we deserve to get into the play offs we will get there without having to rely on other teams getting point deductions.
  7. Fair enough, guess I got the wrong end of the stick. I should probably just go back to bed.
  8. He's just saying people need to be carefull out in the dark after the game, people jumped on his back because he stupidly mentioned immigrants. If he had just said it was full of chavs or something similar no one would have cared, some people just feel the need to be politically correct.
  9. The PC crew out in force I see.
  10. That's the best of the lot. Still find it hard to believe these made up players can make it through to the full game.
  11. Anyone remember when they gave out free Yorkies after a game at the Dell? I was only young and somehow managed to come home with about 10, must have been a good 11 - 12 years ago.
  12. There are toilets on the travel coaches
  13. Well obviously he's done well for himself, I wasn't knocking him at all. I just think if we had played him in the same position for the last 3 seasons he would have developed into a better player.
  14. I think his versatility cost him while he was with us. Played wide right, wide left, as an advanced central midfielder, as a more deep midfielder and as a left back. Personally I think he played his best football in the first season from the right under Burley. Then he seemed to float around playing all sorts of different positions and seemed to stagnate.
  15. I would take him back, he would be great as the most advanced central midfielder in a our 4-5-1. I like Schneiderlin and Mellis in that role but Surman would be better, he's much more of a goal threat. Doubt he would consider coming back even if we got promoted, he's moved on to bigger and better things. He's just been unlucky so far with Wolves.
  16. Charlton are on tv on the sunday I think so we should be a fair bit more fresh than them. They are playing some non league side while we're playing one of the best teams in our league, I reckon they will rest their key players.
  17. That's pretty ****, can't really afford to take the time off work. Wish they would just leave fotoball games alone at 3pm on Saturdays, they can't expect there to be much trouble.
  18. Spain. I think five in midfield is the better formation but that doesn't mean it's the only option. If the players at your disposal are more suited to a 4-4-2 then it's going to be the better tactic.
  19. Won't be anywhere near as effective when the team isn't built around him. If he joined a top half CCC team and was told to just play as an orthodox winger he wouldn't be anywhere near as good as he has been for us lately. Would do well to stay with us and help us get promoted twice.
  20. Anything less than the play offs and i'll be dissapointed. The Leeds away game in December will be interesting test see how far we've come.
  21. Would like to see him play the Wotton role myself. I'd stick him there against Charlton with Thomas at right back just to see how he does. He did alright playing there against Charlton and has a fair bit more to his game than Wotton.
  22. Indeed. I'd say Trottman and Antonio show he has an eye for a player. Harding, Jaidi, Connolly etc would all fill up the HCDAJFU thread as they're proven players available for nothing.
  23. Going by last seasons table we need to get 76 points to get into the play offs which is another 22 wins from 32 games. Would need a fair bit of luck to win that many games but I think we can do it if Jaidi, Trottman, Lallana, Waigo and Lambert stay fit. Automatic would be 26 wins from 32 which would be a bit of a miracle.
  24. I wouldn't change a thing at the moment. Having options like Mellis, Antonio and Connolly to change a game on the bench is something not many other teams in the league can do. Sticking to 4-5-1 with the chance to bring on those three is probably the way forward, we've been so impressive this month if we can keep this up and keep key players fit we will get promoted. Pretty big if though.
  25. It's all about money, any league one manager knows about those players but there are very few who can afford to pay and attract them in this league.
