That miss from Schneiderlin was even worse than I remembered. If Oldham had gotten in back to 2-2 he'd have gotten a bollocking after the game. All he had to do was pass it into the net.

Lambert was my MOTM today. His general play is superb, he's the most complete striker we've had since Kenwnye Jones when we signed him I was just expecting a goal scorer but he's got everything to his game. Lallana was good again he's far too good for this league I really hope we can keep hold of him. Waigo was good for the first half then seemed to get really tired. Should have brought on Antonio earlier. The defence seemed pretty solid, will be interesting to see what happens when Murty is fit again, he's a much better right back than Lloydy but we look really dangerous from corners when we've got James on the pitch taking them.

I think this is the first time i've seen us win two away games on the bounce. Good performance, Lambert especially was immense. Schneiderlin really should have scored in the second half, not sure how he missed but I get the feeling that as soon as he gets one goal they will start to flow.

750 is still pretty ****, I guess everyone's saving their money for Orient next month.

Anything less than a win will be dissapointing.

That's not a new thing he's made some bizarre decisions ever since he took over. Can't be bothered to list them but 35 year old Palermo starting ahead of Tevez, Millito and Aguero is probably the highlight, maybe Gutierez at right back or there was 36 year old Ortega getting a call up. He's a fruit cake, really hope we get them in the world cup, Capello could pick the u21s and he'd still embarass Maradonnas Argentina.

Saw him out on the **** on a Sunday afternoon not so long. After that he's quickly becoming my favourite Saint.

Mellis is the better player but I think you need someone like James or Wotton infront of the defence letting the rest of the team play.

They've both won me over in recent weeks. It was obvious Adam would come good eventually he had everything to his game he just wasn't using his ability properly in the right areas. Now he's actually using his energy to get into the box he looks the real deal can't wait to see if he can keep up this impressive form. I really didn't expect much from Schneiderlin after last season I thought he was a massive waste of money who didn't help the defence and didn't create or score goals he was just a luxury player. He seems to gave really stepped up this season, there's a bit of fight and spirit about him and he's started to get in the box more. Was unlucky not to get a penalty on Friday. He's even learnt to tackle, if he keeps improving he will be a class player for us.

IMO our best midfield five would be Waigo, Hammond, James, Schneiderlin and Lallana. Wotton and Mellis unlucky to miss out, I don't think Schneiderlin is that much better than Mellis but he's our player and should be our priority also think Mellis would be more of a threat coming off the bench with his pace and goal threat.

No point changing a winning team so keep Morgan in the side he played very well against Southend.

Shame to see him go, still think he could do a job for us this season, can't blame him for wanting first team football in a higher league. He never gave anything less than 100% for us so I wish him well. He clearly loves the club shame it hasn't worked out for him, I thought after last season he would kick on be an important part of our midfield. Pardew obviously rates James, Wotton, Hammond and Schneiderlin ahead of him so he won't get much of a look in.

All the goalies are a bit ****, really need to be 85+ before they start looking competant. Had a few crosses go straight in while i've been playing. Even had someone score direct from a cross against van Der Sar, pretty ridiculous.

If it was just based on ability i'd take Skacel and Mcgoldrick back but neither of those really wanted to be here so we're better off with inferior players who want to play for us. Shame we lost Euell as I think he could be usefull cover this season same with JPS, good player but not as good as Trottman or Jaidi imo. Surman I'd take back in an instant, a front three of Lallana, Paga and Surman would be brilliant. Glad to see BWP, Rasiak, Dyer gone.

Yep, no one really cared about the Millwall game, they made a lot over the course of the run though.

I've managed to blank that season out, not sure I could even remember a full XI. That was a shocking season.

He didn't play holding midfield against Southend. I'd say he was as good as anyone on the night playing as our furthest forward central midfielder. He's not cut out to play holding midfield yet, maybe with a bit of experience but not yet. Wether he's in the team or not it's a nice change to actually have options and decent players on the bench.

Agreed. You need to have Wotton or James in front of the defence. Hammond and Morgan are too similar and both want to play further up the pitch leaving too big a gap between the defence and midfield.

The Burley side was a lot better, maybe next season with a few more players we might be at a similar level but not yet. Davis Wright - Baird - Lundekvam - Bale Surman - Guthrie - Pele - Skacel Jones - Rasiak That was a decent team. From our current squad Waigo and Murty would walk into the side not sure who else maybe Lallana, Hammond and Jaidi.

Based on what three good games this season? I don't think there's much in it between the two, James being able to take a semi decent set piece swings it for me.

Was thinking about, with everyone fit i'd rather have James in there just for his corners. Maybe stick Schneiderlin in for Mellis and shift Lallana out wide and play the same system as we did on Friday.
