  1. All I heard were United chants. Our support was a disgrace
  2. Just to be fair what exactly did you say?
  3. I've always thought the Major cricket rant in the same episode was more about narrow minded racism, the Germans were the butt of the German jokes rather than Fawlty making them.
  4. I just think it would be a classy thing to show in the papers for once. For me it would've been nice to see photos of the whole ground paying tribute in the Echo.
  5. I hope becuase of the ban and newspapers not reporting about Saints whatever tribute we do for Markus doesn't get ignored by the national press.
  6. Well done the hawks. Wish I could've been there.
  7. cheers
  8. I'm sure it's already been discussed but why weren't we given a bye? I can only assume it's random.
  9. Perphaps someone could take a photo of the wall with prices on and post it on here as proof. However then the wall's image rights may be infringed.
  10. Also on BBC website but only on local news. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-10914863 I think this is as big as the story is going to get now.
  11. Can't see it posted anywhere so far but story is now on Yahoo sports site. http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/world-of-sport/article/21664/
  12. I think I recognise the people in it...
  13. Quick google has shown Bristol Rovers tried in in 2007. No idea of how successful it was but they allowed their local rag. http://www.epuk.org/News/669/bristol-rovers-ban
  14. Do any other clubs do this? In England or abroad. Also do other sports do it? It may just be the way things are going.
  15. Also very minor pitch invasion at Leyton.
  16. Didn't the Echo report on Lineker sightings around Southampton when he was playing for Grampas 8?
  17. I'm watching the battle of Algiers at the moment. It's based on the Algerian war of independence with France. In it Algerian women wearing Burkhas carry bombs and guns across checkpoints because, I think, it's considered an offense to touch (search) Muslim women in Algeria. It's a very good film and I think US forces has to watch ti before going into Iraq because it's basically a list of what not to when occupying a country. I'm not sure what this has to do with the arguement though so I'll shut up.
  18. Italia 90 was far better IMO. Cameroon provided a shock right at the start and the final, while being poor, had far more entertaining violence.
  19. Rock night at the Nexus.
  20. Spread Eagle in the Liss
  21. Good work on this. I've tried to do a bit a research about boooking charges for other clubs but not having much luck. WHen fixture list is announced and clubs start selling tickets it will interesting to see how much they charge and then we will more ammunition to complain or instead keep schtum and count our blessings it's not more.
  22. Also was there a booking fee for buying tickets by phone last year. I was up in arms about the £3 booking fee but then I remembered that I might have paid a booking fee last year anyway.
  23. Sorry, quite right. Too early in the morning to be thinking.
  24. I don't think it would've made any difference. It would've he didn't need to join a top Premier League club to play for England and, considering what he's said about not wanting to be too far from Jersey I couldn't see that he'd enjoy playing in a foreign country, learning a new language, different food etc.
