  1. Theere's nothing guilty about Neil Diamond. As a fully paid up metaller, I own a lot of music I should be ashamed of (Wham, Duran Duran, Dolly Parton, Belinda Carlisle etc) but, I'm actually proud of my diverse tastes. That said, I was looking at a Phil Collins best of yesterday and thinking i should buy it as i like every song on it. :/
  2. RIP. His goal against Norwich was amazing. And from everything i've heard, he was a great bloke.
  3. Beasant was just about over the 45% degree line.
  4. I suspect there have been thousands of caes of biting in the playground before and after the incident completely unrelated to Suarez. I agree he should have got a big ban but I don't think you can blame him for children biting each other.
  5. Would having a quick tommy be allowed in said example?
  6. Skates getting biggest crowd in league 3. I think that's is the sole reason they started the bested fns thing.
  7. Credit to whoever edited Waigo's wiki: He scored his first goal for the club on 3 October 2009 in a 4–1 home win over Gillingham.[6] He celebrated with his trademark 'Waigo Dance', involving him stepping ungainly thrice, before tapping his neck twice
  8. Stan Collymore's take. Apologies if it has already been posted. http://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1rjllua
  9. Lawro did a good piece on comparing the keepers on MOTD. Their keeper bottled it and in a similar situation Boruc dived in to get the ball, knowing he might well get hurt.
  10. Away to Cov in mid 90's. Player was one on one with Grobbelaar and hit it over Brucie's head He got the weakest of touches which just slowed the ball down on it's way to goal. From where I was sitting it looked liked he could've done a much better job. I believe this was one the games that Grobbelaar was accused of match fixing in.
  11. He's employed as a pundit for thew same reason most of the talk sport people are employed. Not for their intelligent insight but because the things they say attract controversy and get people riled up by speaking his mind. The only difference is I think Merson beleives what he says but Talk Sport presenters just make up stuff for the sake of being controvercial to get people calling in.
  12. First i hide about the bottle throwing incident was when some bloke who worked for Radio Solent, was sitting near where bottle landed, phoned into Solent to explain what happened. At the time i don't remember him saying anything about racist language being used prior to bottle being thrown. I'm not saying it didn't happen but I wonder if he was aware of it and chose not to mention it at the time.
  13. I'm sure better stattos will correct but is the reason Matt's not on there is a lot of his goals were scored in old first division? I think he still scored 100+ in prem but maybe his goals per game ratio isn't as good in prem only. You know how people like to forget there was football before premier league.
  14. March 30 Chelsea (H) l April 6: Reading (A) w April 13: West Ham (H) w April 20: Swansea (A) l April 27: West Brom (H) d May 4: Tottenham (A) l May 12: Sunderland (A) l May 19: Stoke (H) w Only getting the points to guarantee safety on last day.
  15. The 2 pictures don't match. I the first there is the huge space for people to walk around across the road from ground but in second there are trees or bushes there plus a building not part of the site which would restrict the space.
  16. Music's not dead in the sightest. The only problem I have nowadays is too much choice. I still buy 90% of my music on CD but because they are so cheap (especially second hand cd's) and I 've been collecting over 25 years I have over 2 months worth of music. I rarely listen to new stuff more than once. Less time to really absorb it. I've never been one to go see bands I know nothing about. So now I rarely go see new bands because none of them grab me first time. I could see this being an issue for people who get loads sof music free from tinternet but, as I've just said, it's not an internet only problem.
  17. No worse than us taking Shearer and Maddison from under the noses of the Geordies.
  18. And can I add our first million pound signing Alan McLoughlin
  19. Craig Maskell
  20. He played and scoredin a friendly on 11th March 1980 agianst Vancouver Whitecaps at the Dell. Saints won 3-1. I 'd just read it in the Saints on this day book. Not sure of the reason for the friendly though.
  21. I'd assume they have seen the replays and know better than anyone if it was blatant. No problem with it. Call a spade a spade.
  22. Are yo referring to the East Stand side of that corner? If so do you mean the little strip that had no seats even when the Dell became all seater? I always thought that was for programme sellers. The block next to it did have a kiosk behind (no beer though) but it was for Junior saints but I don't know when from.
  23. Footballers convicted of assault, rape and death by dangerous driving but he's the vilest one ever? Absolute bollcks!
  24. That's a bloody hard spot the ball
