We might have put a bid in on what the club realistically thinks he's worth and won't go above it, say £15M, Spurs might come along and slap a million or 2 on top of our bid, in which case we'll never get him.
I think the Morgan saga could drag on so any expensive replacements will also drag on. The cheaper players that are on a limited contract are probably relatively easy to get in but if we're eyeing players on £10m+ then there will be competition for their signatures etc and will take a while.
A professional doing his job, never offered his undying love and never slagged us off. Decent player, I like him but I won't give him a second thought now.
It seems that Man U are playing tricks with Clasie to get us to sell them Morgan http://www.givemesport.com/593946-manchester-united-enter-race-to-sign-jordy-clasie
Cheers for the service Clyne. That's it, we can forget about him now, was a solid professional but we move on. Hopefully we can spend the money wisely, I'm sure we will.
You were not at the home game against Villa then? Long is a quality player who can score quality goals but he brings more than just standing in front of the goal having shots.
Hopefully it's a case of making Man U come closer to 25m if we value him at 30m. They might have only offered 15-20m. It's all speculation though, hence we're writing it on a forum. If we get anything close to 30m we will have done well.
Ohh he's been a naughty boy! http://www.sde.co.ke/m/?articleID=2000167448&story_title=southampton-midfielder-victor-wanyama-forced-to-apologize-for-wearing-racist-tshirt
If he carries on playing well only a Champs league team can afford him, he's not going anywhere right now so no harm in offering him a few extra quid to extend his contract and he could still leave next year to a big club and we get a nice wedge for it.
