And he might go to Arsenal or something. Either way £12m would seem low for him, no harm with testing the waters though.

Saints opt not to take up right-to-buy on Eljero Elia
Saint_Ash replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Frank Lampard made a living out of deflected shots. Before anyone starts crying I'm not comparing Elia to Lampard. I quite Like Elia and if cheap I'd take him - pretty much what Bexy says. -
Krueger: The Europa League is not a negative for Southampton
Saint_Ash replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
The whole reason for competing in the league is to finish as high as possible and reap the rewards that brings, one of them is getting in to Europe, if our league place is hindered due to being in Europe then so be it. I prefer to come 7th, get in to Europe and the following season have a decent European campaign and come 10th. We then learn what we need to do for the next time we're in Europe. -
Why are people going on about cabaye? Someone said they liked him and now people are talking as if we're linked. Are there any rumours about him and saints?
-
But this can't be true, a poster, is it Tom28, said he's definitely joining us and had a go at people for questioning it? Surely posters on a forum can't be wrong? As an aside, be interesting to see how ings does for Liverpool who should create more chances for him, if Brendan decides to play him that is.

You're getting all technological on me now!

Just caught up with the last couple. Excellent read Billy, shame you won't be able to do the first 2 European games unless you get to watch them on the box where you are.

If anything Adkins is too good for Sheff United in their current form. Could easily take a top half Championship side role. He knows what it takes to get promoted, would succeed at somewhere like Derby where McClaren fell away. Would be nice to see him gain promotion with Sheff United though, I'll be keeping an eye on them.

No I agree, it's a case of the man not the post.

Because it's Saint Charlie and he's a proven troll.

FIFA bribed the Irish football association with 5 million Euro to not appeal the henry handball which knocked them out of wc qualifiers -
I'm hoping he can be like gattuso.

Your figures include Clyne and Morgan going which I believe we'll be able to recoup at least 30m from those two which leaves an outlay (based on your figures) of £26m. That's not a great deal and a figure I think we'll probably spend.

Is ings still definitely joining? He's massively odds on to join Liverpool.

It usually means the person who is owed the loan transfers the loan into shares of the company who owes the loan so the person owns part of the company. Where Kat owns all the the shares in saints I'm assuming more shares are just issued to her, increasing the share volume in saints, but she owns them all anyway.

Not sure why clyne would want to go to west ham...

Lovren then?
-
Yep, kids out for city and senior players don't want to get injured before their holidays. Winnable.

He won't oust matic at Chelsea. If city don't get pogba he might go there, counts towards home grown quota I think.

Rodriguez has returned - BREAKING: NEW CONTRACT SIGNED
Saint_Ash replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Never in doubt he was going to leave. no one in their right mind would pay for him. He could have played this year and wound down his contract though so great stuff he's signed. -
I'm looking forward to the villa game even more now. Going to be great when we hammer them.
