  1. Least his resignation saved a payout, covers the cost of the wasted wages of T.Lee etc.
  2. "With great regret we have accepted the resignation of Mr Cortese. He has done a wonderful job and we very much wanted him to stay," said Liebherr.
  3. MP still has a good job..ffs.
  4. so he resigned months ago...wouldn't MP have left already then?
  5. Yeah he mentioned a few times about getting new owners in if the current ones didnt want to finish this project...or something along those lines.
  6. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/25736264 not sure either way if true or not, going to wait and see.....seems a bit vague at the minute.
  7. Just make it up as usual.
  8. Minus any merchandise he helped shift over in Japan, Glasgow will have all the figures. Ill wait for the answer.
  9. No surprise, especially with the J-League starting up again soon gives him time to sort a club out. All a bit of a waste of time, had a good month for us though...once.
  10. Wolfsburg bringing in the replacement already from Chelsea...
  11. Hope we command at least 20m quid for him. Thought the Berlusconi run AC Milan so not sure how he would like to answer to them.

  15. for Fox, yes.
  16. WBA had a good game plan, they hadnt lost in the last 5 games so not a bad side either but obviously they were here for a draw, a win if they could catch us on the break. They let us play in front of us, and were even happy for us to whang crosses in, as their backline consisted of Reid, Olsson, McAuley and Ridgewell, all 6'1 +. Their was no space behind for J-Rod so his game suffered, Lambert won feck all in the air most of the game so dropped deep to pick it up and Davis had another consistent game of keeping ball without being too adventurous so he wasn't going to do defence splitting balls. Gaston, for his faults tries balls which most of the time don't come off, whether he meant it to AL or not doesn't matter, he played a quick one touch ball into the danger zone without letting their defence get into position and it worked and won us the game. Its a worry how we didn't create enough, but at the end of the day we got the win and WBA didn't look like scoring until playing 4 up front for the last 10mins, in fact Gaston could of sealed it on the counter but his lob was too low.
  17. Wasn't a great performance, but didnt seem in too much danger till the end. Good to not play well and win though
  18. Agreed. 30m is way over the top. Maybe get Kolarov or Clichy as part exchange also.
  19. MOTD's Simon Brotherton at St Mary'sSouthampton v West Brom (1500 GMT)"Southampton are on a poor run of results with just one win in the last nine and have suffered from both a tough schedule overall in recent weeks and some defensive errors, certainly in the match I saw at home to Spurs. "They were as high as third at the start of November but have dropped to ninth. A top-four finish was always unrealistic but they're better than the recent run suggests and their four goals against Burnley in the FA Cup should have helped bolster confidence ahead of this one."
  20. Looks like Jelavic is off to Hull. His career gone off the boil quickly, was the darling of Everton a couple of seasons back.

Would do a job for a newly promoted team. Can't see anyone higher taking a punt for the price they would want. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk
  22. It was the usual clap trap to bait the same arguments we have had on the main board for ages no matter how you dress it up. I'll delete the whole post next time, just thought half his post was constructive so felt that was better to just edit out the wum part. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk
  23. Osvaldo to Inter with Fredy Guarin coming this way? Can't see it myself. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2536791/Fredy-Guarin-used-makeweight-Inter-Milan-sign-Pablo-Osvaldo-Southampton.html
