Is it just us or are all Italian transfers dragged out for as long as possible...from memory Osvaldo & Ramirez went on for bloody ages.

Not sure why I find this guy underwhelming I suddenly find all players we have signed in the past underwhelming too.. And no, I was excited by Mane as he had been on radars of big clubs for a while, and my Bayern supporting mate had said he hoped they signed him after he scored a few times against them in some sort of friendly.

Just Long in my case, was keen on the other two.

There is a lot of 'our players are average' and then you read other posts by the same people saying we should be top 7. Can't have both. Finish above Everton and a Cup win will do me. Not much to ask!

They will put out a strong team I feel, they wont win the league so easy to keep the scousers happy with a cup win instead.

Start with the team that started the 2nd half v Bournemouth. Tough game. Spurs have been patchy of late and not firing on all cylinders.

If Pompey weren't so **** we and were in the same league they wouldn't even class this as a derby. So its PFC's fault. Personally just see it as another game of the season, amuses me to see them big it up though.
