  1. Well he's got 3 years left on a 5 year deal. Hopefully a League 2 team will take him off our hands in summer. Ditto Pulis and Molly.
  2. I'd give Gillett or Lallana a try out in the centre for the remaining games. IMO neither James nor Wotton is the answer. Neither is CCC standard and both can leave in the summer as far as I'm concerned.
  3. Half an hour of your life you'll never get back Steve.
  4. I'm sure it was £5m plus a few add ons. I fear however Lowe traded these add ons for Tommy Forecast. Maybe this was genius and Forecast really is worth 20% of £20m, who knows....
  5. Yes. We created another account called "Wiltshire Saint" and stuck all the infractions on that. Infraction laundering I guess.
  6. She saw you coming.
  7. Ssssssssshhhhhhh!!! We're not allowed to upset the Premier League clubs dontcha know. Next season though, that's different. The FL have their arses bent over the table.
  8. 8 Southampton Football Clubs. Not sure if that says more about them or us TBH.
  9. Pancake never existed as a person. He was just a seperate account created by Baj and used by any mods when we felt like acting rude, childish or a little bit fruity. It was fun whilst it lasted, but we aren't really down on man power as such.
  10. ... 1,333 Ricardo Fullers Your turn.
  11. Cranie Redknapp FA Cup Match Using our training facilities Could be loads of things. Quite funny though.
  12. Part of the reason I think his hoofing was poor was the fact that it clearly wasn't working against Hazell. If Lambert was up against Chris Perry, I could understand him doing it, but he wasn't and it never worked. I'm not focusing on any specific incident with Puncheon, but his delivery was generally poor, both from open play and set pieces. Would have liked to have seen Antonio replace him after an hour or so to try something a bit different.
  13. We missed Morgan, but I don't think that was the problem last night. Don't forget he did play in the home game against Swindon and Orient, when we were just as poor as we were last night. We didn't score at Yeovil either whilst he was on the pitch. Games like the JPT final showed that we can play well without him. Last night's main problem was mostly the final delivery. Puncheon's crossing was terrible, Lallana never really got going. That and the fact that Seaborne kept hoofing it every time. If he does leave in summer, I'd be disappointed, but he is not as important as Lambert, Lallana or Fonte IMO. Our problem is the Wotton and James are very poor. We've had players in recent years like Oakley and Safi who have played that role just as well.
  14. Thought you'd already done that.
  15. Reuben Hazell. 31 on Saturday according to Wiki. Their defence had a decent game, but I'll pass on that one thanks.
  16. I think James is one of the players we should offload in summer. Wasn't overly impressed by him last season, even if he was played out of position. This year when he got more chances in midfield, I thought he might shine but he just hasn't. He has no pace and can't head, which is going to count against him wherever he plays. Whenever he plays in a wide position he tends to freak out as soon as he crosses the halfway line and launch it hopefully into the box. Can't really say I've seen anything from him that is in any way exciting.
  17. One of those "sh*t happens" games I guess. We gave it our all, but a few great saves and some dodgy reffing kept us out. I don't think we missed Morgan THAT much. I'd rather have had him in the side than Wotton, but that wasn't the main problem tonight. The final ball in just wasn't good enough and some of the shooting was a bit off. Will have to remember not to sit at the back of block 38 again. Tne 10 year old pikeys banging the boards and sining "what time's your mini bus endlessly really got on my tits. Davis - 7 Couple of super saves, bored the rest of the time. Semi - 7 His forward runs are a help, but he is a great asset defending the counter attack. None of the Oldham players had the legs on him. Fonte - 9 Freakin' class act. MOTM Seaborne - 4 Wasn't trouble much, but looked uncomfortable. My main problem with him was the complete hooooooof fest. Harding - 6 Was solid enough, but has a few dodgy deliveries Puncheon - 5 Gave the ball away a lot and his crossing was way off tonight. Hammond - 7 Thought he put in a decent shift. A good last ditch tackle second half and got a couple of efforts on goal too. Wotton - 5 Hoof Lallana - 6 Quiet night. Lambert - 7 Worked hard, but had little service. Barnard - 7 Busy first half, was disappointed he went off and not Puncheon. Subs: James - 5 On at half time, in the shower after 70 minutes... hmmmm. Waigo - 6 Couple of decent runs. He's still offside. Connolly - 5 Beaten all ends up in the air. By the time he came on it was mostly just long ball stuff. Ref - 1 Hopeless.
  18. A thought struck me yesterday that Lambert is one of the only Saints players who has never played at a higher level. Seaborne is the only other I can think of.
  19. How anyone can make that claim I do not understand. Lowe had nothing to gain from putting into admin earlier. As soon as that happened, he lost any control over the club and as such had no interest in future points deductions. It was plain selfishness really.
  20. Just go 5-0-5 The defence can just hoof everything at Lambert and Barnard, Waigo, Antonio and Lallana can all feed off the knock downs and flick ons. Midfields are overrated.
  21. Nope, just assumed you were talking about volcanic activity. Most aircraft wouldn't fly into a sandstorm, even so dust is not as much of an issue. The big problem is volcanic ash, which, when heated quickly enough and cooled can turn into glass and seize engines.
  22. Volcanoes.
  23. A few points. Lard - Holding isn't really the problem here. At most airports in Europe, holding is unheard of. It's only the busiest places like Heathrow, Frankfurst, Amsterdam etc where it's comon. Even then, it's not particularly a problem with the ash. If anything, you will be below the ash at holding altitudes. Bridge - No, the lack of planes isn't causing nice weather. We had bad weather loooooong before we had planes. There is a nice high pressure system over the UK, which has been giving us this lovely weather. I've got a nice week sat in the sun drunking beer planned. Dune - The Canaries wont be affected by Calima if the airport you're going to is sufficiently upwind of the eruption. Rekjavik airport remained open long after UK airspace was closed. FWIW I don't think this is an overreaction?PC gone mad at all. Thousands of flights accross Europe every week. It only takes one to find a patch of ash and suddenly we've got a 200 ton glider up there.
  24. Buemi?
  25. The overtaking incident on Webber was perfectly legit. Think Hamilton should be punished for sticking on it through all the other teams pit boxes on his way down the straight. Vettel a bit naughty, but I'd let him off.
