  1. Done to death but Perry, Pulis, Gillett, Murty, Thomas, Forecast, Holmes and Molly are all likely candidates for a one way train ticket. I'd like to find someone better than Wotton too. Antonio, Bart and Thomas are all out of contract, but I'd like them to stay.
  2. Judy surely.
  3. Ambrose is a good shout, but can't think of anyone at Pompey. They represent terrible value for money even if they are better than current players. Cortese is a sensible man and wont be splashing £50k a week on wages for Pompey players. We've already nabbed Fonte as well as Barnard from Southend. Haven't done too badly out of broke clubs. Anyone we can nick from Cardiff?
  4. We also need... A CM called Earth to play with Wotton A CB called Times New Roman to play with Fonte A LM called Laurel to play with Harding (Well nearly)
  5. We played better without Mogan yesterday than we did against MK Dons with him in the side. I'd wager it was better than the Swindon game too. Schneiderlin is a very good player, but isn't the be all and end all. We can play well without him and we have played poorly with him.

I can understand the concept of being in a union of people in similar situations. However, I don't get the whole, "here, have some of my wages to help with a dispute which is nothing to do with me," attitude. If you think BA cabin crew are in "times of trouble" then you are misguided.
  7. We won 4-1. I would argue we coped alright.

Who in their right mind supports a cause they DON'T agree with?
  9. Hope he gets fit soon, but yesterday it was relieving to see we could play well without him in the side.
  10. To me they didn't look all that interested in Kubica. Though Hamilton and Webber looked more likely to challenge the Ferrais if anything. Thinking back, there wasn't all that much action when the track dried out. Overtaking looked pretty difficult, especially when you consider Schumi was stuck behind Jaime Algae all race.
  11. Just seen the pen on BBC2. Didn't see the handball in real life, thought it was the other defender (number 21) penalised for a shove on Rickie.
  12. Drinking warm lager doesn't encourage the team either. I'm taking a guess that you did that anyway. I enjoyed the wave TBH. Bit different. Certainly better than 'encouraging' the team by endlessly telling them how much we hate Pompey.
  13. Nope. Just means penalty. Funnily enough I saw the lino give it today and not the ref pointing at the spot.
  14. Was it. Looked to me like the defender had put his arm up and pushed him in the back, but then we were up in the nosebleeds. I'll take your word for it.
  15. Complete the above sentence. ... I've been to a cup final involving Saints ... I've been to Wembley ... I've seen us score 4 away from home ... I've seen Saints win a trophy ... I've been in a Mexican wave ... I've seen anything close to 44,000 Saints fans in one building.
  16. There was a handful of OB dotted around Fleet Services on the way home. Seemed odd. Can't imagine there are too many Carlisle fans heading home along the M3. Also a couple of Skates trying to hitch hike a lift back. They weren't having a lot of luck.
  17. The penalty was given from an Antonio cross in for Lambert. RL would probably have gotten on the end of it if he wasn't pushed.
  18. Sorry to hijack your thread Chalet, but I've added a MOTM poll. Davis - 7 Didn't have much to do, but did it well enough. Kicking a bit erratic. Harding - 8 Very composed on the wrong side, great distribution. Fonte - 8 Pure class Jaidi - 8 Big lump. Wins it. Excellent Mills - 7 Solid Antonio - 9 Set up three goals before scoring one himself which was better than any of them. Sign him up!! Wotton - 7 Solid if unspectacular. Proved we can cope, and win convincingly, without Morgan. Hammond - 7 Ran the show pretty well, putting in some decent tackles. Lallana - 9 Worked his socks off. Lambert - 8 Good work ethic, great pen, good assist for Lallana's goal. Waigo - 6 Switched around with Antonio a lot first half, but not as good IMO. Still an asset with his pace. Subs: Gillett - 7 When I saw him tossing himself off in May, I never thought I'd be seeing him play at Wembley*. Good near post shot in injury time. Connolly/Perry - n/a not enough time. *This incident occured on a pontoon in the Red Sea. He was scuba diving.
  19. I did here a few boos splattered around when NC appeared on the screne, but they weren't nescessarily connected. Wembley is so MASSIVE that there was usually a lag in hearing the crowd noise because of the time it takes sound to travel that far. I remember Carlisle goals, they had scored, celebrated, given the ball back and we'd kicked off before the sound of the cheer reached our end. The boos could have been for anything. Carlisle players, Lord Malwhingy (Well I booed him anuway) or the Carlisle fans refusing to join in a Mexican wave. There were probably a handful of ignorant tosspots in amongst the 45,000 booing NC. F**k 'em.
  20. Reading don't have to let him do anything, he's a free agent.
  21. Set up three goals today then scored the pick of the bunch. On his birthday too I am told. Not just a knee jerk reaction to today, I think he's been good all season.
  22. In the car with Baj, Latviantolix and one other. Brilliant!!! Just brilliant! Paint pot or not, Ive seen Saints win 4-1 in a cup final at Wembley. Thought the whole team played well, no poor performances. Lallana, Lambert, Fonte and Antonio stood out for me. Faaaaaaaantastic!!!
  23. W00T!!! Pleased for Kubica too. Shame about the Red Bulls though. What was Webber thinking...
  24. Well, they would be wrong then.
  25. Yep.
