  1. We should go back to the pre-2009 spec. if nothing else because the cars look better. 2005 was the best season I can remember in a long time. '08 was great too, especially the finale, but '05 just sticks in my mind as being particularly good. Would have been better if the Mclaren had been more reliable.
  2. Has Skacel signed yet?
  3. I think we will do it. Not Champions but second. I think a decent pre-season will do us the power of good. Let's just hope Leeds and Norwich both go up this year. Both far stronger than anyone who is coming down IMO.
  4. This is sort of being covered. Look for a thread with just over 21,900 replies.
  5. Another game against Wotsit!
  6. - Anti Pompey songs. All of them. Makes us look sad and obsessed, plus we seem to singing them every five minutes. - Signing too quickly. Not just OWTS, all of them accelerate to the point of beind indecipherable. - Having segregation of about 3 blocks either side of the away fans. Makes for a pretty soulless banter with the away fans. - Not being able to buy anything at half time without missing either the end of the first half or start of the second. - Being told to sit down by stewards. - Crap HT entertainment.
  7. Strange. Dune's arguments seem to be more coherent and well reasoned than usual. :-k
  8. I thought Merson made him look like Prince Phillip TBH, but you have a point. My children shan't be attending their finishing school.
  9. Bummer. Glad I couldn't go now. Still c'est la vie, onwards and upwards and all that sh*t.
  10. John Terry moaning like a whore at the ref.
  11. At least one shark... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/google/5017329/Google-Street-View-funny-images.html
  12. Perhaps we could have a friendly against Dynamo Kiev.
  13. Just call him a fat barsteward.
  14. Oh sausages.
  15. I know I did.
  16. I hear they want Moritz Volz as their spokesman. From next season they will be our current sponsors. This should help us charge up the league table etc.
  17. Ian Dowie
  18. All the good signs are there for next season. Only Norwich score more goals per game and only Leeds and Millwall concede fewer. At least two of those teams probably wont be here next season and the teams replacing them aren't all that special. A few more happy stats: - Everyone except Saints, Leeds and Brentford have let in 4 or more goals in a match, at some point this season. - We've scored in all but 4 games. Only Norwich have drawn fewer blanks, 2, one of them was against us. - We've only lost by more than one goal twice, Huddersfield and Brighton. - Only Huddersfield have better goal supremecy at home (goal difference per game) - Only Leeds and Norwich have better goal supremecy away. This is over our whole season, not just our form since October.

I do. Nothing I would love more than for that ***** to have to Saints a trophy, less than a year after he laughed about how he was trying to put us out of business. I want him stood there with 44,000 people calling him a w**ker.
  20. There were a lot of gash games last season. I only saw about 10 and Plymouth sticks out in my mind as being one of the gashiest. It was a 0-0 draw, but there were more entertaining defeats, like our trip to Forest on the last day. As such, there aren't really many that stand out as being worse than the others. The playoff season and this season have been quite entertaining, so the crap games stand out much more vividly, relative to the others. Norwich, Leeds and Colchester are the teams I'd least like to face again next season. Scunny, Posh and Plymouth coming down would also help.
  21. Which is why I don't want to play them again. Every time we play Colchester it is always an AWFUL match. I'll struggle to forget the 2-1 defeat at SMS in the playoff season. Never have I seen such a dreadful game before or since, although Plymouth at home last season and our trips to Wycombe and Swindon come close.
  22. Let's try and keep the communication on topic:
  23. I really rate Saints at the moment, but 16 points is just too much. Man Utd wouldn't make that up in such a short space of time. I really hope Leeds and Norwich go up. We need as many big hitters out of this League as possible for next season. With Charlton's financial problems etc, I'd like the Us to take the final promotion spot. That will never be any easy game with Boothroyd in charge.

Amazing what a goal at Old Trafford will do for you. Not sure by what other yardstick he is better than Lambert. In both games against us this season he has been crapped and acted like a petulant mong. Really threw the toys out the pram when subbed off at Leeds.
