  1. Gingers aren't a race Scottish people aren't a race It's only Xenophobia if some form of dislike or fear is implied. Hope this helps.
  2. Think they filmed a few scenes from Band of Brothers there once.
  3. I know this is probably ancient Pompey news, but I've only just noticed it. Pompey can't play Dindane without incuring a £4m loan fee for making a certain number of appearances. £4m?!?!? as part of a loan fee? Who the flippin' 'eck authorised that in the PFC boardroom.
  4. I've been there, lovely place. If I'm thinking of the right place, they've got year round glacial skiing nearby in Kaprun.
  5. Children, play nice.
  6. Injury or not, you'd have thought they'd go and watch.
  7. I have it on good authority that Johnny Depp will be there as a guest of honour as he is in the UK promoting his new Alice in Wonderland film. This may be completely made up. BTW, I wouldn't take the p*ss out of alpine. These Austrians are crafty b**tards, they've got the whole world thinking Hitler was German.
  8. Really, honnestly don't give flying f**k about these idiots or Pompey in general. No doubt however, a few of our fans will see this 12 year old in a Pompey shirt and decide to have it out with the stewards and OB, then come on here and complain about Nazi stewards who threw them out, but ignored the Pompey fan.
  9. Waheey! Go Red Bull. Good to see an improvement from JB too.
  10. Gillett at RB would just be my selection. I reckon Pardew will play Harding, Mills at LB and five in midfield with Waigo on the right and Wotton in for Antonio.
  11. True and irrelevant. Neither VR will make it to half distance without breaking down.
  12. Davis Gillett - Jaidi - Fonte - Harding Antonio - Hammond - Schneiderlin - Lallana Lambert - Waigo
  13. McLarens quick in the morning sessions, but that may be due to fuel loads. Rain made things interesting.
  14. They were probably being used in too many robberies.
  15. Isn't he the kid on South Park with a lisp and diabetes?
  16. Not sure, but didn't Jan Poortvliet use to be their manager?
  17. Pretty generous to describe as a footballer really. Port Vale can keep him.
  18. I know Cortese has commented that we wont be having a sponsor on the shirt next year with our retro style kit, but if you could pick any company in the world to sponsor Saints, who would you pick? I'd quite like the Saints Haulage company, which I see from time to time on various motorways or McVities Jaffa Cakes, with a blue and orange away shirt.
  19. I don't buy it. Your 'Saints related' excuse or KP Choc Dips.
  20. Ditto, except for train read car to the house of Baj
  21. Let's hope this one is a bit more interesting. TBF Melborne usually provides entertaining racing and Bahrain has always been a snorefest.
  22. I'm there now. Atmosphere a bit quiet so far.
  23. Assuming Saints are still in League one next season, who else do you want to be playing? Not nescessarily the most likely, but at least plausible teams. Feel free to make innuendos from the thread title. Personally CCC Coming Down Palace - New away day for me and they will probably be weak without significant investment. Watford - Bit of a bogey team, but again they're not on too strong a financial footing and would probably get weaker rather than stronger in summer Peterborough - Another new away day and by far the worst team in CCC Not - Plymouth, Derby or Wednesday League 1 Going Up Leeds - A very strong team, even if they are bottling it this season. Norwich - Their squad was probably too good to get relegated last season. Colchester - Boothroyd's teams are always hard to beat League 1 Going down Hartlepool - Feckin' miles away Stockport - They're pretty much gone Southend - Been there, done that Wycombe - Sh*t pitch League 2 Going Up Rochdale - Pretty much guaranteed Notts Co - Near my parents house Bournemouth - Local derby Chesterfield - On a Tuesday night in August. With a trip to Alton Towers first.
  24. Personally I shall be taking a nice steaming poo on my seat after the match. The chances are it will next be occupied by a Pompey or Spurs fan and I'd like to leave a small token of appreciation.
  25. I don't generally read the Wail, but I found one lying around at work and decided to take a read. On the front cover, BA trolly dollys are trying to take over the government. In the sports page I read this load of koi about Cortese. It all started so promising, slagging off Pompey and Woopert, but then it just turned into petty insults against (IMO) the best chairman we've had in a couple of decades. I think Cortese is right in being disappointed with our league results and not being nearer the top. I am to an extent, but at the same time I think Pardew had a tough job, he's done it well and is the best man for the job. It's a myth that having money to spend makes a managers job easy. Look at Chelsea, Man City, Newcastle and Spuds. Stability is the key.
