About 15s in, the fat crewman near the white pole on the left... It looks like he loses his toupee. Not sure, could just be the light on his hair though.
-
Just watched that out for that bit. Right into the pole. Ouch! 50s. The fat bloke in the stripey jumper achieves aviation.

Vulcan has to be one of the loudest aircraft out there, although the F-4 Phantom always used to set off a few car alarms at the Waddington Air Show. The noisiest aircraft on Earth is the Tupolev Tu-95 'Bear'. It had 4 contra-rotating props. The tips of the blades travel faster than the speed of sound. If you can imagine the sound of 32 blades travelling through the sound barrier... well you get the idea.

There are some nutters out there. It's the ones that jump level crossings that really baffle me. You know there is definitely a train coming flying through at any second, yet they still decide to weave slowly around the barriers onto the track.

The fat guy in the stripy jumper sliding around in a pile of furnature made that for me.

Being covered elsewhere, innit mush.

Old? Geeky? I shall hear no such insolence! For the record, I know exactly where to stand before kick off. I just happened to be looking at the line to my right (which 3 home team players also seemed to be standing 'behind') and couldn't see the two home guys kicking off because they were blocked by one of our strikers. Check the video about 18s in if you don't believe me. -
Anyone else think "Nicola Cortese" sounds a lot like "Nicolae Ceausescu". I'm just saying...

This is the moment, although it's a shame the actual sending off wasn't caught on camera. Basically it's the bit when everyone is laughing. -
What's blue and doesn't fit? A dead epileptic.

Pretty much the same actually. Friday session one we were half way along Kemmel too. Friday afternoon and Saturday morning on the inside of Rivage. Qualy and Sunday on the banking at Pouhon. Did you see (or hear) a group of people with two vuvuzelas (one green one blue)? That was us.

Dan Petrescu? Eric Cantona?

Skacel has just been released from his club...

Bottom of the NPC and that would make you happy? I wish some of our fans were half as easily pleased as you were.

I'm ITK. It's Sven.

Thought he did well for us, but thanks to Burley's mismanagement we never really saw the best of him, same as a lot of other players really. It's just a shame the only time he was played in midfield he was unfit from not having a preseason. Just when it looked like he was getting there, he was dropped. Good luck to him, although correct me if I'm wrong but didn't he leave because of a falling out with Romanov in the first place.

I'm going for Howe on Thursday at the traditional time of 2323.

Overseas saints what other teams do you follow?

Not Skonto at all then? FWIW I used to live in Holland, Germany, USA and Scotland. So naturally I support Dyanmo Kyiv. Never been to a game, but it's on my list of things to do. -
That's enough pointless sarcasm for a pointless thread.

Poortvliet, Wotte, Pardew...

You're not my type. I was out all night chocolatiering.

Had your fill last weekend?

He came on, misscontrolled it a bit, put a shot over the bar... that's about all I can remember him doing TBH.

Davis - 5 Couldn't really tell from the Northam, but he looked pretty badly possitioned for the first goal. I still crap myself whenever the ball goes back to him and his distribution is one dimensional. Had little to do other than pick the ball out the net twice. Butters - 7 Got forward quite well on occasions I though and was solid enough at the back Fonte - 5 Didn't look anywhere near as composed as usual today Martin - 7 Much better than Jaidi. Chased a few balls back which would have left Jaidi in deep sh*t chasing shaddows. Harding - 6 Did alright, nothing fantastic. Is clearly very frustrated at the moment. Chamberlain - 7 Lots of good runs first half. A real prospect. F*ck knows why he was taken off. Hammond - 5 Did f**k all Morgan - 5 Did bugger all. Slightly different to f**k all. Puncheon - 4 Gave the ball away with ridiculous frequency and I can remember 3 appaling shots. Occasional flashes of brilliance, but nobody was on the same wavelength. Never deserved the abuse he got from some f**kwits in the Northam. Connolly - 5 Some good movement and build up play, but his game was ultimately fruitless. Lambert - 4 Looks a shaddow of 2009 Rickie. Needs a strong manager to get a rocket up his arse. Subs: Guly - 3 Looked complete gash on this showing. Mills - 2 Did absolutely f**k all.

Words escape me, utter cr-a-p, well lads hope you enjoy your pay-packets.

I think it's quite easy just to jump on the players backs whenever things aren't going well. However more often than not it's the managers (or in this case lack of) fault. This has been repeated several times in Saints recent history. It's more a case of poor leadership IMO. Premier League - Beattie, Fernandes, Anders, Lundekvam - All excellent under Strachan, then completely hopeless under Wigley. Championship - Rasiak, Skacel, BWP, Dyer - All started off well under Burley, then completely lost form when Burley lost the plot League 1 - Lambert, Puncheon, Schneiderlin, Fonte - All excellent last season, all very average or poor this season. These were all excellent players properly managed, but so often with Saints, the management wasn't there. It's all well and good saying they should be motivated whatever the situation, they are good individually and should therefore win etc. In reality motivation and organisation are the reason you need a managers. If you could just get 11 top class footballers and tell them to go out and play brilliant football, we wouldn't need a manager at all. Leadership was the problem today.
