I'm very happy, but having spent all week trying to make arrangements to grub up a few spare tickets from people on this site under the proviso that no more tickets were going to be put on sale i'm a bit annoyed! Lots of time and stress. Still, at least i'll get a bit of 'me time' at the game

Severely f*cked off with this, although it's great that there will be more tickets available i've been calling the TO all week to ask whether any more will be put on sale and they've categorically stated to me on several occasions that there wouldn't be any more tickets released through the club. Still, at least I can get tickets for all my mates now instead of just me and one other!

Yes, that's exactly what i'm trying to say. We had 2 players of Arabic descent playing for us at about the same time, I just got them mixed up. Honestly, how many have we had? The only ones I can think of are El Khalej, Kachloul and Safri from a few years ago

Gordon (GK) - Great shout, I really rate him and on a free he would be quality. Few problems with injuries in the last few years but we've got a great medical staff (so Nige keeps saying). Plenty of experience too. Fabio (RB) - No thanks. Quality player but a primadonna and loans aren't really what we should be looking at. We want stability. Rosenior (RB) - Good player but again problems with injuries. May have to pay a pretty penny to get Hull to part with him as well. Calderon (RB) - No ta. Davies (CB) - Definite signing imo. Pacy, strong and dominant in the air. Fonte has had an odd season and we need consistency in the Prem. Curtis and Jos at the back would be unbeatable imo. Jarvis (LM) - No chance of getting him unfortunately. Buckley (LM) - He's been quality this season. I think he'd be a very good signing, although i'd hate for us to put money into Gus' pocket for their 'promotion push' next year. Lua Lua (LM) - Good player, but again a bit of a primadonna and a diver. Not sure whether he'd fit in well with the rest of the squad. Mutch (CM) - Would be a fantastic signing but I think he's got quite strong ties with Brum. My Brum mate reckons £8m+ for him as well. If Nige and NC think he's worth the money then he would be quality! Zaha (RM) - No thanks. Petulant, sulky, argues with the ref, dives, gets players booked and has a temper. Might calm down in the next few years but at the moment it's a nooooo. Phillips (RM/ST) - Think he's better out wide than up front, but agree that he would be a quality signing. Bangs in the goals when in form and would certainly sort out our RM. There will be a bidding war in the summer.

Started doing the Euro 2012 one the other day as I went into work and we were giving the books out for free! Recapturing my youth. May well end up doing the Prem set if we go up. I remember collecting the stickers one year, and when Tahar El Khalej transferred to Villa I crossed out his face and wrote JUDAS all over his little section of the book. I was an odd child.

I would love to go but I have work at 7am on Sunday, and the last train from Boro gets into Southampton at 1.20am and leaves Boro at 6.20pm (halfway through the match). Not a practical one for me, but I shall be in the pub watching hopefully with hundreds more Saints fans.

It offers a viable short-term solution to a problem which can probably be better tackled 50-60 years down the line when these reserves run out. Gives us time to develop new green technologies or improve existing ones (nuclear?). I say go for it tbh.

I don't think This Charming Man would be too happy with having 2 Japanese players in the squad though, get too many Japanese fans with placards at games

Weiss would be a quality signing at RM. Isn't he captain of the Slovakia team? FWIW I think we should be looking at a RM, a CB, cover for full back (don't rate Harding and Butterfield in the Prem), an experienced CM and a ST.

I don't tend to think many things through, it's not my way I understand the dealio with the tickets now, I do have a mate in Hull who could get hold of some tickets as he's been to the Ricoh this season and is on their database. As I say, no problems with going in with them but if we go up (or even seal the title!) next Saturday then I want to be able to join in the celebrations with the rest of the Saints fans and not be stuck with the doomed Cov few!

I phoned up the ticket office and asked what the date was that Cov were sending back any unsold tickets, they said that they did it on Monday. Buying a ticket in with the Cov fans is a last resort for me tbh, I doubt they'll be too ready to sell tickets to first-time buyers for a sold out game to a person with an address in Southampton Thanks for the tip though, i'll definitely get a ticket in with them if there are some left and no spares come my way in with the Saints fans before this time next week.
