Sharp has to start against his old club, surely? This is a game where he'll want to prove himself. Wondering whether Lee will be fit enough to get onto the bench - Nigel will want to start him vs the Skates if he is so he'll want to give him a bit of game time in this one to get him back ready. ------------------DAVIS------------------ FRAZER-----FONTE-----HOOIVELD-----FOX GULY-----MORGAN------CORK-----LALLANA ------------SHARP-----LAMBERT---------- Subs: Martin, Hammond, Puncheon, SDR, Connolly/Lee

Completely f*cking mental. How anybody could publish that in a national newspaper...the Mail need to take a look at themselves printing that tripe.

I'm finding that now as well. The Lib Dems are just settling for little victories now instead of trying to influence the budget overall. The Tories had better hope that businesses are tempted to come here by this tax rate cut, otherwise they'll be out on their arses in no time at all. PS: Danny Alexander is such a little scrote.

Well, it's started again. I don't understand why they all jumped on Bilyana at the zoo for stealing their sales - surely London Zoo is big enough for them to split up into groups of 2 so they didn't get in each others way? Either way I think the wrong person was fired, either one of the other 2 should've gone before Bilyana imo.

I'm buying a season ticket regardless of what league we're in. Just been wondering about the cost should we go up. Didn't QPR put their season ticket prices up by 50% or something ridiculous? I think we can expect around a 15-20% increase in price should we be promoted, NC won't want to price our fans out of attending matches.

Ok, I started a new game with Saints (another one) after the new patch came out. Halfway through the season and we're sitting comfortably at the top of the table, 4pts clear of Middlesbrough (who we beat 3-0 a few weeks ago). My team follows thus: GK: Jung Sung-Ryong (£1m - Suwon) RB: Danny Simpson (£2.3m - Newcastle) LB: Manuel Pamic (£1.5m - Sparta Prague) CB: Jose Fonte CB: Craig Dawson (£1.2m - West Brom) RM: James Forrest (£3.2m - Celtic) LM: Adam Lallana CM: Jack Cork CM: Adam Vass (£650k - Brescia) ST: Billy Sharp ST: Jan Chramosta (£5.5m - Mlada Bolelslav) Chramosta is well worth the money, bangs in the goals if you give him the ball to feet. Just breezes past defenders! I've never been able to get Rickie scoring on any edition of FM - is there something wrong with me?

Solent taters said just shy of 700 Saints fans were there.

He's been through a hell of a lot over the last 6 months, and he's just had to uproot his whole life from Yorkshire and move down here. Yes, his fitness wasn't great when we got him, but that will change. Give him a bit of time.

Hull 0 - 2 Saints - Post Match Reaction Thread
SuperMikey replied to Saint_clark's topic in The Saints
I f*cking love this club. -
Best case scenario would be for Wet Sham to lose at home (again) and for Reading to either drop points or have Jason Roberts sent off. Don't particularly care about the rest (aside from Saints, obviously!)
-
I think if we want our club to be taken seriously and respected, we need to be in the Prem. I love the Football League, but ultimately if we want to be successful then we have to achieve things in the Prem. Personally I think the key to our success is to make Nigel our David Moyes. I hope he's with us for another 8 years at least.

It's a shame about T-Dog because they adapted his character from Tyreese in the comics, who was actually my favourite character. He was well-developed as a character, was integral to the story and I was actually gutted when he was killed. T-Dog does seem to just stand around... You'll like Michonne, think a female version of Daryl. Kicks ass.

I think it will be Saints, Reading and Birmingham. My Brum mate isn't sure that they'll go up, but I reckon they have enough in their squad to win the play-offs. Would love to see Wet Sham stay in this league and watch them implode!

My mate is a student in Bristol and is constantly raving about the nightlife there. Think he lives on the east side of the city, and there's a few big warehouse clubs that do psychedelic raves etc as well as your bog standard nightclubs and bars. I'll drop him a text tomorrow and ask for some recommendations.

Don't worry - I can guarantee that no episodes will take place on the farm next season! You only need to watch the series finale to find that one out! Very intense! Poor old Jimmy... Looking forward to seeing how they characterise the Governor in the TV series, in the comics he was very much a 'comic book villain', so whether they make him more 'real' or not will be interesting.

Dry The River - Shallow Bed Been looking forward to this album for a long time, and I finally got a decent listen yesterday. If you've not heard this band before, imagine a kind of 3-way love-child of Elbow, Fleet Foxes and The Maccabees. Lazy comparisons, but they have the crossover appeal of all 3 of those bands. Beautiful harmonies, songs range from acoustic fairytales (Family, History Book, Shaker Hymns) through to bombastic guitar-shredding (No Ceremony, Weights & Measures, Lion's Den), always tracked by soaring violin melodies. I was slightly worried about what the finished product of this album would be like, as one of my favourite songs of theirs (Family Tree) was reworked into Family, the album-closing track. It's not hugely different, but the structure was changed slightly as well as the lyrics in the verses, and I have to say that I don't like the new version as much as the older version. However, the album is pretty faithful to the original tracks, so that's a nice surprise. Catchy choruses, beautiful harmonies and well-written lyrics abound in this album, and I hope that the band get the credit they're due now with this one. It's a great album, and one of my favourites of the year already. Needless to say I shall be listening to it a lot over the coming weeks! Get your hands on a copy if you can, and go for the Deluxe Edition as well because it contains several live versions of album tracks which are great and showcase the talents of the guys - it's not all done in post-production like a lot of music is nowadays. Can't wait to see them live again when they're touring this album - saw them at Glastonbury last summer and they were great. Recommended them to my Dad who then saw them the next day (he had never heard them before) and he left with goosebumps all over singing their praises to high heavens. They will be big this year. 9/10

Tbf every Millwall I met at SMS for the league games and also in the cup game away was pretty sound. I think obviously an idiotic contigent is attracted to the club because of their reputation for violence and being pwoppa nawty, especially on the internet where 14 year olds can pretend to be all hard without actually doing anything. I think if an away team came to SMS and got 2 penalties which need supporting evidence to prove that they are clear (plenty of photos and videos out there to show that they were penalties, but those in the stadium will have had different views) then there would be plenty of fans on here after the game spouting off about being robbed and how the ref was a pr!ck etc. Still hate their fans and the club though.

Celtic's bid to join the football league
SuperMikey replied to farawaysaint's topic in General Sports
Huh? The only incident I can think of recently is Craig Thomson who played for Hearts. I think Celtic would be a great addition to the Football League tbh. Big fanbase, globally recognised and if they received the same amount of money as English clubs then they could become a force. -
Sitting in my room with my head bowed and my fingers crossed, then jumping up and cracking my knee on the desk. Never mind though! What a moment...wish I had been there today.

What's to get upset about? It's a thread being moved ffs...
