Whereas the Skates when they were last in the Prem were loud and arrogant about their unjustifiable amounts of spending, then when their castle crumbled and the mercenaries f*cked off to other places they were still going on about what a big club they were. I'm so glad that people have finally seen the vast amounts of cheating that went on behind the scenes at Nottarf and now see the Skates for the seedy little club they are. When we get back up to the Prem, I hope we continue to promote our family values, we don't spend massive amounts of money on players who only care about their next paycheque and above all, we play by the rules. As long as we do that, i'll be happy.

I think he was decent enough for West Ham when he was playing in the Prem, every player has a bad season every now and then. Wouldn't mind signing him tbh. Certainly better than Forte, got more in his locker.

I'm a relatively happy clappy type of supporter, but while we have lots of quality youngsters coming through I don't think we have sufficient backup for certain positions. Centre Back and Striker being the main priorities in January I think. We need Championship level players who can step in when injuries and suspensions occurr imo. It might seem harsh on players like Aaron Martin - who was apparently very solid tonight - but if Fonte was to suffer an injury and be kept out for 3 or 4 months, who would feel 100% comfortable having Aaron starting each game and who would feel comfortable with Harlee Dean (our 4th choice centre back while Seaborne is injured) on the bench? Same for up front, if Rickie was to suffer an injury we would be completely screwed. Sounds quite negative and reactionary on the back of tonight's defeat, but I seriously think it's an area that needs to be addressed in January. NA says it's about a squad game, but a squad needs to be deep enough to cope with a crisis.

Get him off on the hour for De Ridder if he's struggling. I think this is a key game for us, a few frustrating results could lead us into a downward spiral like Leeds had in 09/10. We can't peak too early! If Barnard is fit I would love to see him on the bench, but it's hard to leave any of the midfield and attacking options we've got on the bench out at the moment. It sounded like Schneiderlin had a great game tonight, Chaplow has been our best player over the last few weeks and De Ridder is a fantastic impact player.
