Considering it'll be very difficult for me and my mates to get tickets for this game plus the ever-watchful eye of the OB castrating the fun from the event, I think it's the KA and numerous pints for me instead.

My physios are top notch, i've got Steve Whitehall who is quality.

I've got 8 out now, I think that is somewhat unrealistic. They're all from the first team as well, not reserves. Skintsaint, my facilities are alright and training isn't pushing the players too much, so I don't think it's that.

And the award for Most Patronising Article of the Year goes to... the Hampshire Constabulary!

Make that 7. FFS.

Edinburgh is better imo, especially for a night out.

Injuries are becoming a problem now, 6 of my starting XI are out with injuries for more than 2 weeks. I might even have to change my formation to deal with this injury crisis... 2 of them got injured on international duty, which is f*cking annoying, but when I ask them to retire from internationals to prolong their career they get angry with me, which is even more annoying.

Forte isn't as bad as people say he is, I just don't think he's cut out for this level. He would be a good striker for a mid-lower L1 team. Like was said above, will be interesting to see if Sam Hoskins gets any game time. He's quick, sharp and works very hard. Good potential.

F*cking hate it when we sing that, it's just embarrassing. We're not Burnley ffs.

What the f*ck are grape nuts?

I think he's a Swiss national though.

Been watching Top Boy on Channel 4 recently, it's fantastic. Not only is the acting brilliant by an almost unknown cast, it's absorbing, well-written and gritty too. And to top it all off, it's scored by Brian Eno. Definitely watch this if you haven't seen it already!

I switched to a 4-3-3, it's worked an absolute treat for me so far. Want me to upload it?

My copy of FM12 was running slowly, but I switched the game cache to a hard drive with more disk space and stopped Steam from collating data files, now it runs much quicker.

Head back to the KA for a few drinks, up to the Giddy Bridge for some nosh then pub crawl my way back up to Portswood, where we go back to my mate's house and play FIFA. Expensive, but fun.

Ready Brek.

Follow the tips I posted further up in the thread, worked for me.

I think Lakeside did have fireworks this year, there were some quite near the airport when I was waiting for my bus back from work. I managed to see about 5 different displays on my journey back home tonight, and to think I was annoyed about missing out!

Not just for back-up, but for squad rotation. We don't have a big physical presence up front aside from Rickie (and Guly at a real push - he gets muscled off the ball easily) and to have a different option to come in for certain games is a good thing. Reading did well to sign Mathieu Manset from Hereford, if they hadn't signed him, he is a good player for holding up the ball and winning aerial challenges. If we were looking for a big striker with a bit of pace about him, I would suggest Daniel Powell from MK Dons. People hunger after huge names, but I think signing a Maynard or a Sharp could unsettle the balance we have at the moment up front. Our strikers are playing well, playing confidently and scoring goals - that's what we need from them. Don't forget we have Lee Barnard to come back into the side as well as Connolly who's on the fringes of the Starting XI. We have good options up front, and we just need something a bit different up top, but somebody who can deputise for Rickie if he was injured, which would mean we wouldn't need to change a whole lot tactically.
-
Get Jos the Boss on board permanently, and if Danny Seaborne isn't going to be back this season then another CB on loan for the rest of the season. We also need a striker that can come in if Rickie (god forbid) gets injured. Preferably somebody who's good in the air, strong and can hold the ball up and is pacy. You don't get many of them in the pound, but if we can find someone like that who we can get in we definitely need to go for it.

Lukas Jutkiewicz.... is he worth signing?
SuperMikey replied to david in sweden's topic in The Saints
He's still young, he's a Saints fan and a local lad and would definitely play his heart out for us every week. He's a physical presence up front as well, something that we don't have aside from Rickie and Guly. -
We signed Chaplow for £50k - not £200k! Absolute bargain considering his recent performance. Agree largely with your report though, I think Frazer has really proved a lot of people (myself included) wrong this season and Bart has been excellent when he's come in too.

If Boro win this evening, there'll be a pack of front-runners going into the winter months. I can see us up there with West Ham and Boro, sounds about right.
