Started a new game with Saints on a larger database than on the demo version and I was absolutely sh!te. Made a few signings but suffered 5 straight defeats: NPC - Saints 2 Reading 3 (Early penalty, Lambert off with a head injury just after half-time) LC - Charlton 4 Saints 3 (Cork sent off early on, came back from 4-0 down but couldn't get an equaliser) NPC - Donny 3 Saints 0 (Sharp tore us a new one, Fonte had a match rating of 4.2!) NPC - Saints 1 Birmingham 2 (Brum nicked a late winner courtesy of Curtis Davies) NPC - Watford 1 Saints 0 (Sordell scored early on, heads dipped and we were sh!te) I feel embarrassed. Going to manage Scotland for a bit I think.

Good money-making scheme over the summer, send your kids out with a few jam jars each day and they can make a fortune!

I'm hoping it will go to database sales, if it does then I wouldn't be averse to camping outside SMS overnight to get my tickets!

I feel sorry for the guy that got fired, he was a bit thick and his suit was like a tent on him, which just made him look ridiculous. They all seem irritatingly "i'm not going to let my working class background hold me back" or "i'm so successful and privileged already that I deserve this". Bunch of telly tw*ts.

We don't have too much depth to our squad to make wholesale changes in games like this, something we need to address in January methinks.

Graeme is, by all accounts, a nice bloke. He shops in a Tesco not far from where I grew up, and myself and a few of my Reading supporting friends have bumped into him on more than one occasion and he's always been very nice. I believe he's involved with youth coaching at SFC at the moment, as well as getting a run-out the other day for match fitness. Wasn't he linked with a move to Bournemouth a few months ago?

Lambert has been our best player this season ffs! Top scorer in the Championship!

A lot of players would have screamed at the ref for giving him 2 yellows, even if they were for 2 shocking tackles. No complaining, he knew he'd done wrong and he was straight off the pitch. I think that shows good attitude tbh. Just needs to work on his tackling in the future

I'm guessing you downloaded it through Steam? If so, it will need to boot up through Steam first just to verify. I think there's some kind of offline mode for Steam, have a poke around in the settings.

I thought the guys playing Michael Palin and John Cleese were absolutely spot-on. Shame none of the others really got much of a look-in.

He stuck his arm up, no doubt, but it didn't look to me like he got much of a touch on the ball. I was watching the highlights on the BBC website's live stream rather than on a nice crisp HD telly but it didn't look like there was too much contact in my view. Still, I suppose deliberately sticking your arm up to deflect the ball is worth a yellow anyway, contact or none.

Anyone happen to catch BBC4's mockumentary 'Monty Python's Holy Flying Circus' the other day? Very good retelling of the events leading up to the release of 'Life of Brian' including a few very good performances. It's up on iPlayer, it comes highly recommended.

Doesn't look like Fonte actually got a touch on the ball with his hand to me, should it have been a yellow? Hammond looked disappointed to be sent off, that shows his good attitude. Reading are a team we should be beating but they're in very good form at the moment and i'm happy with a point today. NA said post-match that he should have rested a few players that played against West Ham, I don't think Connolly has been at his best of late and if Barney is fit and eligible to play, I would like to see him back in the starting line-up. Great energy up front and good finisher too. Difficult game coming up against Middlesbrough next Saturday then Posh on tuesday night, will be another interesting week...

Cork back in for Schneiderlin, otherwise unchanged. Interesting. I thought Schneiderlin did really well against West Ham during the week, but Cork is arguably better.

Solskjaer would be quality, ferking hope they don't get him as their boss. He's been linked to a few Prem posts as well so you would think he'd be more tempted to go there...

Go past it on the bus every time I go to work, always thought it looked alright but over the past few months it's started to look quite run down - all the lettering has come off the front and the place looks awful. Shame really.

Gutted i'm going to miss this one, think us Saints fans will create a great atmosphere today. Unfortunately i'm working from 5pm so I won't be able to listen to the commentary either! My Reading supporting mate reckons it will be 0-0, he says our away form is pretty dire and Reading are on the up (unbeaten in 6 games). It will be difficult, Jimmy Kebe could cause us a few problems down the right hand side. Lets hope Fox can keep him covered, otherwise we could be in trouble. Simon Church is another one to watch, quite good in the air and also quite quick. Good finisher too. Will be a great game i'm sure!
