Adkins would be a superb appointment imo, he's done wonders with Scunny and it'll be the next step up for him to move to a bigger club in a division he's familiar with and see where he can take us. However, I can't help but think we should go for somebody who can achieve in the here and now rather than somebody who will be a better manager than some of the touted names in a few years time. I will get behind (almost) anyone who's appointed though, I have faith in NC to make the right appointment for us.

I've had a couple of decent meals in the Slug before, although i'm not overly fussy when it comes to food! Think there's some kind of tapas bar next door which is also supposed to be okay.

Just got back from seeing Two Door Cinema Club at New Slang in Kingston. Amazing gig, up there with the liveliest i've been to definitely! I'd recommend that you see them in a small venue as opposed to somewhere like Shepherd's Bush. Watch out for some more club gigs that they might do.

Might as well offer my services too as a bassist. Played in a few bands, done a few gigs but not vastly experienced. Pretty quick learner though, and can play most styles.

I remember reading an interview with some West Ham player a few weeks after Zola took over, talking about how things were going. Apparently if Zola joined them for training, he would run rings around all of the players and quite often the squad would just stand and watch him in awe of his technique and skills. The player remarked that Zola was probably still as technically gifted than most 'quality' Premiership players!

Scott Pilgrim vs The World Just come back from seeing this, absolutely loved it! Edgar Wright is a f*cking genius, everything about the film was amazing. It's absolutely chock full of references, I was literally sitting there and every other line of dialogue something would pop up in my head saying "Hey, I know that!". Finally, a film that properly caters to the fan-boys without being patronising about it. Well worth the admission price imo. However, a word of warning: Don't watch this film unless you're.. - A Michael Cera fan - A video game nerd - A comic book nerd - Prepared to let a whole load of video game/comic book references go straight over your head - All of the above. 9/10

MON would be f*cking fantastic, Mowbray equally so. I just hope we don't end up with some chump like Brown or Hart. We need a really quality manager to give us the success we expect, I just can't see a manager like Brown, Blackwell, Hart, Ince etc. coming in and getting us promoted twice in 3 seasons. It's not all about getting there as well, we need somebody who will keep us in the Prem and more, that's where MON would come into his own. Oh, and Martin Samuel is a f*cking clown.
