The Official Summer Transfers and HCDAJFU Thread

Gary Madine from Carlisle? Tall, young, not slow and probably quite cheap. Scored against us in the JPT Final with a header. -
Well, the few thousand armchair fans out there will see that this is an important time for SFC and that the game on Saturday will be of huge importance, and get down there to join the occasion and help to remember a great man.

I reckon they'll sell a lot of tickets on Thursday, as presumably Markus' memorial service will be covered on the news and people will want to go to the game as a result of that. I think we'll get just under 30k in the end.

Okay, more like... Contraband > Slash's Snakepit > GNR > Libertad

Beaulieu Motor Museum? Maybe your kids are a bit young Baj, but I remember going there with my dad and brother and absolutely loving it.

Edgar Davids CDAJFU on a one year contract, he'd be quality! Really intelligent midfield general, very experienced at the highest levels and he's got a very cool head as well. Agyemang was playing for QPR in L1 not that long ago (I think), and he could commute down from London I suppose. He's got pace and strength, he could easily play alongside Lambert, Barnard or Connolly so he wouldn't always be back-up. -
Slightly OT, but still relevant. I heard there was a port on the HD2 (Windows Mobile 6.5 OS) which would allow you to install Android as the OS instead. I've found a guide on t'interweb, but is it worth the risk? WM is a bit crap, but is Android that much better and is it worth potentially f*cking up my phone for?

Anyway... ---------------------Davis--------------------- Butterfield------Fonte-----Martin--------Harding Puncheon-----Morgan-----Hammond-----Lallana --------------Barnard-----Lambert------------- Subs: Bart, Jaidi, Mills, Dickson, Wotton, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Connolly

Best thread ever.

Was thinking earlier how I hadn't played this in ages, and when I went to load up my game, it froze. The game file loads up, it gets to the loading screen and all the scrolling text comes down while the file itself is loading, but when it says 'X Start', the X button doesn't respond and I can't start the game. Anyone else had this problem or got a solution? Don't really want to have to start again

Does she have to tuck them in if she goes for a jog?

It's a shame in a way, as he can go abroad and be a real force and win all of these Masters and Open tournaments, but he can't reproduce that form in front of a home crowd.

I agree -
The Sun is a sh!t paper anyway. If you want news, buy The Times, The Guardian or The Independent. If you want sport, buy The League Paper and The Non-League Paper on a Sunday. Simples.

The code from this year is on the thread on the main board if you're still trying to join.

Who should we get in as Lambert's back up?
SuperMikey replied to modern matron's topic in The Saints
Probably a long shot, but Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink anyone? He's on a free, would probably cost a bundle in wages but would be great at this level. I can see him going to an upper NPC/lower Prem club though. -
Your opinion of course, but I think they're one of the best bands of the 21st century, if not the best. If we're talking guitar music, the styles have changed but the quality is still there. 60s - The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys, The Who 70s - Led Zeppelin, Sex Pistols, Pink Floyd, AC/DC 80s - The Smiths, Queen, U2, Bruce Springsteen 90s - Nirvana, Blur, Oasis, Radiohead, Rage Against The Machine 00s - The Libertines, Arcade Fire, Bloc Party, The Strokes 10s - ?

Egil Ostenstad on a free? -
Winnable game, if we get the bigger teams out of the way first it means that we could end up playing somebody like Aldershot or Oxford in the Semi-Final, which would make it easier on ourselves.
-
38735-12324 I think should work.

I'm not so sure, there are big gaps in the Arsenal team. They still need a quality striker, something they had in Adebayor, and CB is also an issue. If they can sign someone like Gary Cahill or Phil Jagielka as they've been mooted, then they might have a chance. Almunia is a decent enough goalie imo, it's just in other areas of the team that they need a bit more strength, as they're a bit lightweight in most areas.

I was eating a ham sandwich, but oddly enough i've lost my appetite now.
