Nope, negative equity is when you own a property with a mortgage which exceeds the value of the property. For this to be the case, my house would have to be worth less than 135k. Luckily, even with the house price falls, I think its still safely worth £175-180k

Yup. Hazarding a guess, I would say he has a mortgage in the region of £170k, maybe Interest Only on a rate in the region of 4.60% - 4.80%. My mortgage is £135k, 4.89% repayment and the fixed rate comes to its end at the end of Nov. Im moving to a tracker rate .89% above BOE as when rates fall next year to between 3 and 3.5% as they are predicted to, I will fix it for a lengthy period then. I just feel sorry for those whose rates ended around May - Aug time. Best fixed rates without £stupid set up fee's were about 6%! A lot of people fixed it for a long time thinking economic instability would push rates right up.

They shouldnt even be on the roads. If they dont know how to drive properly then the f*cking morons shouldnt be driving. I completely agree with this, however they didnt and consequently it was aired. What I dont agree with is the thousands of lemmings who have taken it upon themselves to try to get these two sacked. I wonder how many of those people who complained have not made a mistake at work which they regret?!
