I had the same thought watching that game. Count me in as an Eagles supporter. (not Palace, of course). Chris Eagles. -

Can't get excited by this. A bit of an own-goal specialist, isn't he? And that isn't good in a defender. -
Saints want £5m Michu...

Top 10! Flippin 'eck. I'd take 3rd from bottom if it was guaranteed now. Hope Nigel is NOT given the goal of Top 10 and then dismissed if we don't achieve it. -

I believe there is a BASIC wage even with a PAYP deal, so it would cost us to have Hargeaves/a.n.other on our books. -
Isn't it ironic? Like raaiiiinnnn ... sorry ... A few years ago West Ham wanted Davis as backup to Green .... now we don't want Green as backup to Davis. Hmm. Yeah, Joe Lewis mentioned above - definitely want a young keeper to learn from Kelvin with a view to taking over in a couple of years. Not an ageing rocker who is into the second half of his career.

Things that have changed in our 7-year PL absence...

EVERY EPL game is televised, so we are gonna have to get used to having our games on the box. -

Agree these two names. Also think the sides that get relegated is where we should be looking to asset-strip. Those sides will be looking to cut the wages bill and the players will want to manintain wage levels = transfer targets. -
Should definitely be a candidate for the England job. Very experienced, calm nature, always successful wherever he goes. and has international experience. Glad the FA are not looking on this as a one man coronation of Harold Redknapp.

The Voice (BBC) just opening with U2's 'It's a Beautiful Day' !!! They are getting in the spirit of the day! Woo hoo. -
Reading Whizz' list is like listening to "We Didn't Start the Fire' by Billy Joel.
-
Or, someone took the title The Saints Are On Fire a little too literally!
-
Shame he didn't show some 'fire' during the game!
-
Any chance its The Bridge at Shawford? Then staggering back to sleep on Nige's lounge floor? I'm sure there's a decent budget for a pwoper parteeee!
-
Hope so. Liverpool can forget about approaching our man from the Wirrall. Get him to commit to a 5 year contract NOW!

Haha, Lampard. What's he on a week? £100k? Not in our budget. We have the summer to decide acquisitions. Good times. -

Well .... okay, they achieved the objective today, so credit for that. We were actually poor, but it didn't matter as Coventry were wretched (not their fault with their resources.) -

Please tell me you mistyped the name. He was absolutely dreadful, and I'm NOT one of anti-Guly brigade. 3 yard passes. Added nothing, and should have been taken off - or not played at all. -
Next season : relegated. But we made the Prem league!!!!

How many Coventry fans will be attending?
the saint in winchester replied to Dog's topic in The Saints
If all the fans - Saints and Coventry alike - promise to 'play nicely' surely we can do away with segregation this time and all have a party together! Like the office christmas party, some are happy, some are melancholy, but everyone has a good time!!! Sit where you like. -

I promise to have the faith, show no nerves, and sing my heart out, getting behind the team. Who's with me? No anxiety in the stands, and hopefully none on the pitch!
