We've been poor, true we've had the possession but we aren't creating clear cut chances. We are painfully slow when we get to the final 3rd and it's probably not helped by the fact that our 3 CMs have no attacking threat about them. Sparta aren't even good, their goal was down to Clasie and Martina not doing the basics and letting a man run free. Rodriguez isn't showing any signs of being the player he once was unfortunately. He shoulda put us 1 up early on. The club made a massive error of judgement giving him a huge contract (and a pay rise) before he proved his fitness.

I think many on here are aware that it isn't the gospel truth until the Liverpool Echo start running the story, they have been pretty clued up when it comes to the transfer dealings between the two clubs.

It is a bit weird that so many on here are perfectly happy if we field weakened sides in the cups. It will be the same for the Arsenal LC game.
