We were worse in the first three games of last season imo. Newcastle 2-2 - They dominated large amounts of the match, we came to life after Long got the equaliser. We got lucky they were so poor that they couldn't kill the game off at 2-1. Everton 0-3 - A walk in the park, one of the worst league performances at home we've had since our return to the Premier League. Watford 0-0 - A dull game, we created nothing and Ighalo somehow missed two sitters. Obviously another poor home performance against FC Midtjylland to throw into the middle of that lot.

Another deal that makes Mane @ £34m look a ****ing awful deal for us.

Underwhelming transfer window. I think not replacing Wanyama is going to the biggest mistake of the lot. Romeu isn't that shield in front of the defence.

Hmmm, I think Cedric is the better player but I wouldn't say he's shown that he's significantly better in his time here.

I personally think there was more to his injury last season than the club made out.

The 2005/06, 2007/08 and 2008/09 seasons didn't feel fun.

How is £8m an eye watering offer? It would cost much more than that to replace him.

Bony would be a great signing for us but it won't happen. His wages pretty much rule us out.

Jeremy Wilson said in an article the other week that Redmond is Mane's replacement IIRC.

In the clubs eyes we have replaced him. Redmond is his replacement.

Long needs decent players to support him in this formation. He doesn't have them.

I can understand his frustration. The last two season we've been on the verge of breaking into that Champions League place but each summer we've had to then rebuild because we are pushovers when it comes to outgoing transfers.
