A murderer with multiple personalities has escaped from prison. Police describe him as a disparate man. I have posted this before and it wasn't funny then either, but I made this joke up when I was about 10 and it the only thing I have ever been proud of.

We share a birthday, along with Engelbert Humperdinck

I fell in love with Bath (and fell in love in Bath) whilst at Uni there - the sweeping terraces as you descend from the hills are outstanding! But you can always visit from Brizzle which is quite a nice city centre, with the usual amount of crap/violent suburbs. The modern languages course I did there was unusual (as said before - mainly science), but it was babeilicous!! The countryside between the two places and around about is also fantastic - dramatic without being ugly like Wales, lush without being plain like maybe Hampshire is. I worked in both places, but preferred Baaaaaarrrrffff!

I think it's just fine. Haven't paid up recently, just because 3 posts a day is working for me - didn't even realise I'd been un-whatevered. My congratulations to the guys who run this - I don't think approx 9 and a half p a week is too much.

Is that deliberately in slow motion or is it my crap connection? It is funnier for being slow, as you get to see the shocked /curious / awestruck reaction develop on his face.

Any update on this dishwasher epic? I'm finding it gripping - pathos, suspense, humour, tragedy, it's all there.

Has he any Yes?

Good idea - for next season. Do ST holders put money aside for MOTs, holidays etc? If so, why not for the ST?

I have a bearded dragon, try to avoid talking to her though. Also, I keep a lizard.

Overseas World Cup Coverage
tpbury replied to dubai_phil's topic in Overseas Saints / Supporters Groups
I'm just gutted that our games in Oz start at 4:30 am. The only midnight game is the last one of the group stages, and frankly if we can't get out of the group, we're sh!thouse. All the post-group games are at 4:30 am - too late to stay drunk, too early to get drunk! Grrrrrrrrrr! -
You lookin at me, you melon farmin ashcan?

Since I moved to Oz, I've been incredibly impressed by the Golden Orb spiders here. You could actually garotte someone with a string of their web.

Chill Pill, anyone?

Am I trying too hard to work out a joke in these letters? paedo's in there, so is the first three letters of an EPL manager, associaated at one time with a south coast industrial estate.

Another example, choosing schools when we moved here (to Oz). One school has an excellent overall reputation, but particularly for rehabilitating 'bad' kids from other schools (basically it has a really rigorous discpline system). I pondered whether my kids should be contributors to this wonderful rehabilitation, or whether they should just go to a regular school. I chose the 'regular' option, but not without a great deal of thought, as they would have received an excellent education as well as learning how to get on with head-cases in a safe environment (being a bit crass there, but you do need to be able to deal the socially unconventional)..

I'm trying to put it into perspective. My peronal paranoia is about vaccinations - I feel the risk of my children becoming seriously ill as a result of being loaded with multiple shots of disease is greater than the risk of them getting the disease (and becoming seriously ill /dying as a result) in question. It's a question of statistics, chance and guesswork.
