not funny. Interesting, but not funny.

unfunny - more than the opposite of funny

mildly amusing is the best description available.

I would dine. But I'm not that fussy.

As was said 800 million pages ago - what is your motivation for wanting them wound up? What is your motivation for enjoying them being wound up? This thread (next target: 1million views) seems to show us saints fans as wallowing in the misery of them; but this is just what made us angry when we had problems (of a different scale). Can we not learn from experience? The facts are interesting and the shady characters involved are disturbing, but let's rise above the fish-barrel-shooting tendency. Let's get all mature on ourselves.

Wouldn't all those galaxies not exist now, if we were able to travel 48 billion light years in a short space of time - the bus would've left.

Would be interesting to hear how many 'proper' seafarers remain fans of the Saints. We could even work out the proportion of such compared to the Naval stronghold down the road - don't think 'I'm saltier than you' has been done before? My seafaring revolves around going crabbing once or twice I hasten to add.

When posting on this thread, could people please ensure the videos meet the basic requirements of the thread title, namely 'funny'. 90% of this stuff is 5hit house.

Well, it's more socially acceptable to gun some snot or snort and flob. Pick and eat is never going to work.

I now know where they got the sound effects for the game I have done so well at!

I'd put Southampton slightly above Essen. It's like making Runcorn the European city of culture, or Middlesbrough. I imagine the Germans will do an efficient job of it though...

Interesting comparison with Australia where I live now. Teenagers on part time shop work get about $16 an hour, which even using the 'old' exchange rate is £8, nowadays it's £12 (probably £13 tomorrow....) Full time shop workers get $20, which is just $2 less than I earn as an experienced IT person. Even when I land my ideal job, I will be earning roughly double what a full time shopworker earns, as opposed to probably more than treble in the UK. Now get this about benefits: Because of my low-ish salary, I receive about $900 a month in child benefit and income support, that compares to £120 per month I received in the UK. Add to this that if and when my salary increases, I lose the benefit dollar for dollar. I'm in a situation where I do a low pressure job on low wages but no particular incentive to move jobs. Now understand this: as an 'IT Professional', I earn about half of the wage of most 'tradies' here - so sparkies, plasterers, P&D ers, plumbers etc are the real wealthy middle class. Is that the case in the UK? I think it has become more so, but the guys buying million dollar homes here have never worked in an office!

Agree with this, mayo and pepper, thanks. The amount of times I went to SMS (and even the Dell) and encountered loads of ManU, Liverpool and other away fans in the home seats was embarassing. I'm glad we're doing well(ish) in the third tier, but however much we 'grow the brand', we simply do not need more seats. I suggest we build on the european model (Marcus?) and build a really strong club/town identity with other sports teams becoming associated with St Mary's, and other facilites for them being built around SMS. (doesn't really matter as I left the Soton area years ago, but still care about the club!)

I read that you had to eat a roomful of Spinach to get any value out of it Iron wise. Similarly, you needed to drink a swimming pool's worth of guiness.

That and the indian guy getting electrocuted - :-(

Last time I was on JSA they put my sign on time at 3:30, just when it was time to pick up (my) kids from school - and they wouldn't budge. Every 2 weeks, I took them out of school early and told my son he was allowed to be badly behaved in the jobcentre while we waited. He did an excellent job of annoying all the staff. However, I phoned the day before on at least two occasions and said I couldn't make it and they gave me another time - it wasn't a massive deal - can't see why they stopped your payment.

Just shove it in, who cares? It's only your family's lives at stake if you screw it up.

Can the accountant be Green or UKIP? Please have a bash at the Aussie expats next. Garrisson Keillor is a famously funny Canadian (I think) - wasn't that smoker guy Canadian - Bill Hicks? I suspect Greg Proops is as well. I might be making this up. Have to confess that the Keillor stuff they play on the radio here in Oz is tedious, tho I liked his book.

I would really have preferred to live and work around Southampton and Winchester for the rest of my life. Didn't work out that way. I had 8 or so years seeing saints at the Dell, and these were really great years (85ish onwards). (ok, so alot involved Branfoot) Every time you have to say which team you support in England, it's hard enough being a Saints fan. Imagine how hard it is to explain the entire sport, league structure, your relative position to ManU and Liverpool, and then explain where the hell you come from (is it near Turkey?). So don't diss the diaspora, GM, it would be a great deal easier to support Chelsea/Liverpool/Manu, but we don't do we? We scratch around for You Tube high;ights and are amazed if here's ever a mention of Saints in our daily lives. This entitlees us expats to 'a say'

I'm trying to figure out the last Leeds game I went to. They beat us. Theo Walcott's dad was in th row below us in the away end. Theo scored and me and my brother were doing "kerrchinggg" actions, meaning he had increased his value. I haven't got a clue which competition it was. Were we premier league or CCC, where was Leeds? Ta

Good work fella! Wish I had the same commitment (=time and money!) as you! Give a shout for all us Oz based Saints! Cheers, Toby, COYR

Keep up the good work with relation to Talking Heads. They must be Blind no one has been telling True Storries, they've stopped making sense, it's like life during wartime etc etc. Most go and hook out those LPs.

Somebody posted a YouTube link (filming their telly!) - very good to see for us overseas!
