    Instant Justice?

Whose better - violent convict who throws boiling water over another convict; or a n other law abiding citizen who doesn't remain silent for whatever reason. BTW, I normally do, but try to make sure I'm not in a crowd. I'm sure there's some years I've forgotten, and I wouldn't be entirely surprised if I've unwittingly blundered through someone else's silence on one occasion maybe.
  2. What with your subsequent post, you're determined to shoe horn in some fellatio related innuendo aren't you? ;-)
  3. I used to stare at the ceiling after a night out and thought I saw it moving. Now I'm glad to learn it was an optical illusion and nothing to do with the 7 pints of strong lager I'd consumed.
  4. Saying this in a pub conversation would result in you losing your teeth.

  7. Albert and Doris were married and lived in the same old people's home. One night, Doris noticed Albert was missing and went to find him. To her dismay she found him lying in bed with Ena from the next door. There was movement under the sheets and Ena's hands weren't visible. Albert was grinning from ear to ear. "Oh Albert," said Doris, "What does Ena have that I don't?" Albert replied: "Well, Parkinsons"
  8. Seems a shame to hear such criticism of good ol Croydon. But it does at least have 24 hour trains from London which makes it great! Also South Croydon is quite nice sometimes. West Croydon's a bit rough. Thornton Heath is a bit stabby. But mind you, shooting goes on pretty much everywhere. All in all - a great place to live!
  9. 5 metres should do the trick, losing almost all of Holland as a consequence is a shame, but that's the price you have to pay.
  10. Think the family should sue the pub, as they did to the radio station in the US.
  11. Those ****ters who wanted him to come back made me want to hurl.
  12. Good points Delldays, why not assume we're going to win? Be arrogant and tough, chances are you'll get what you want. Unfortunately have to go to bed now (Have given up Bury for Brisbane), make sure you guys get us a result!
  13. Anyone read Viz with Postman Plod (I think). One episode had him desperate for the toilet during his break, but he refused to go. As soon as it was time to go back to work, he duly parked himself on the loo with the paper! Hilarious, and true words said in jest etc.
  14. I'm a pinko sandal wearing tree hugger, so I would question whether I could hate an entire group of humans based on where they live. However, I do feel a bit sick when I hear the word 'Portsmouth' and I switch off the telly if ever there's an article about the place, I'm pleased when they lose and I wouldn't be entirely unhappy if the whole place detached from the mainland and made it's way to the Baltic Sea (would anyone notice?). Apart from that, it's an ok place.
  15. This is funny, but was also funny the last three times it was posted on this forum...

Currently unemployed in Oz where it is very hot. I take your point, but getting out more seems like too much effort right now.

I am delighted you noticed. This is an incredibly boring, simple and time consuming game, and fits my personality perfectly. I'm trusting those errors in your post are deliberate and you are thus 'being creative' with language whilst knowing how to express yourself as per StLandrew. :-)
  18. I somehow felt obliged to listen to Radio 1 and only radio 1 in the 80s and 90s. As I woke up hungover on Saturdays I'd switch the radio on to hear Dave fkin Lee fkin Travis who was a patronising and irritating twaht of the first order! Late at night was Gary idiot Davies or Bruno Brookes (just before shut down at 12 - no 24 hours then, oh no) - I can't believe I was glad when Nicky Campbell took the show over. Finally Mark Radcliffe took over (now on Radio2), and that was worth listening to. Now, his evening show is followed by 'Big Band' which is a salutary reminder of the dearthly boredom fest Radio 2 used to be!

I'd where this on my chest with no ethical qualms whatsoever.
  20. Let me not be the first to say something like, 'who cares so long as you don't get knee burn'. I would go for pocket sprung, slightly firmer than medium. We spent £800 on such a one and it was very good.

Well, no, coz I'm not looking for perfect writing on a message board, and I don't care about the precise locations of commas. I agree with Stain that perhaps some people see words as a jumble and don't understand the background of what 'their' (IT'S THEY'RE FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE - SHORT FOR THEY ARE - SIMPLE RULE) doing. I used to really struggle between 'eat' and 'ate', and all the 'theirs', but then, as a result of primary education in basic spelling, I found I understood most of it by the age of 9 and that's why I get depressed when grown men and women can't do it. Never mind, I feel better for having got it off my chest again.
  22. I thought you were going to skip th 500s and collapse together in an exhausted, sweaty mass of superbikes?

The typo? I'm ok with that, it's only a manual thing and I'm not presenting a thesis!

Don't regard it as wasted. I care about SFC, and about the people who who post here.

While I'm at it, please can anyone who writes 'definately' or 'there' instead of 'their' please tell me why you do this and if you can change. I promise not to be an arrogant tw a t about it as I am a tree hugger at heart.
