I'm probably biased but Golac will always be a legend for me. Ossie stayed with us when we went down and helped us win the cup. Bobby scored the most important goal in our history. Nicky Holmes. Stevie Moran. And what about Big Lawrie? Why's he not a legend?
I know you're trying to be funny, but this is the type of post I really hate on here. No value add just cynicism. Why don't you suggest how things can be improved rather than do the oh so easy let's point out how crap everything is post. Anyone no brain can do that
Agreed, but I think that's what made him so successful. He certainly had to be a character to handle some of the big names and rogues he had in his teams, and to be able to make them into a team.
I finally got round to reading Lawrie's book. I thought it was fabulous. Greatest manager we ever had by a country mile. Reading the cup final chapter brought back so many great memories. Relived it all on the train! Recommended reading.
Regarding MP: If it looks like ****, smells like ****, and feels like ****, you don't have to actually eat it to know it's ****. Why have we got to the stage where we are all chomping on ****?
I find it ironic that we only got van d-ick because the scouse tapped up lovren. Now they have tapped up van d-ick. If they didn't have such a **** scouting team, they could have saved themselves 3 years of pretending lovren is any good and about £80 odd million in fees by getting Van D-ick in the first place
