Couple of things wrong with this -
1. It makes no difference whether we have a manager or not whether we sell him. We should sell him as and when suits us
2. WHat is his beef about getting his move before the wc?
So long Rickie. Shame you didn't finish your career here as you promised. Can see why you left. Thanks for the memories, but now we move on. Must say, I lose interest once a player is no longer ours.
The add ons won't be as exciting as the ones you get when you go for your weekly "massage". They will be to do with extra payments if he plays CL games, extra payments if he plays a cretain number of games etc
Pretty crap.
No he didn't say that. He said "We want the manager to make some decisions and be involved with who comes and goes" Far cry from "No players will be sold without the managers consent" as S-Clarke freely quotes and subtly different from your interpretation too
Right, cos Saints would phone up every candidate on the shortlist and say "We just had a bid in for Lambert, if you were manager would you accept it?" lol
No this isn't the truth. To address your two points:
1. It's not true that Saints players in the England squad have been told not to be involved in any club transfers while England are competing in the World Cup. Who told them this? Woy said he wouldn't allow any player to be distracted by club transfers but he also said he wouldn't mind them having a medical etc. Besides - England are not currently involved in the WC
2. The chairman did not say that no Saints players will be transferred out without the involvement of the new manager. What he did say was "We want the (new) manager to make some decisions and be involved with who comes and goes" Key word in bold....
Writing "When I saw Raplh Krueger as Chairman, I could not help but smile" in the comments does not really constitute that they seem to really like Krueger now does it?
