Have seen all the young players make their debut from about 1976 onwards. Brain would say Mr Shearer made the most impressive debut and also went on to achieve the most in International honours. Heart says Stevie Williams - what a lovely lovely player (meant in a totally non gay way :-)). I would trade all of our current midfield for him in his prime. Wasn't young enough to see Mickey's debut but if I had seen it, I have no doubt I would be picking him. One of the few men who can be called a Saints legend.
