No I don't mean that. I don't dispute they can score goals in the Championship. The jury is out if they can do the same in the Prem, although I sure hope they will. What I meant was that Lee's qualities are not the same as just a goalscorer. He has pace and technique and is the perfect foil for an out and out goalscorer. We need somebody with those attributes and I was wondering what we would do if he is going to be out for the first few months of the season. as I don't think playing Rickie, Sharp and/or JRod together is going to do it (or as somebody mentioned earlier... Barnard)

Just a thought on this. Would it not now be a prefect time for Rangers to apply to join the English leagues? If they are going to be stuffed in Scotland, why not be stuffed in England with the hope of a far greater reward a few years down the line. Having said that, I have seen the proposals for a radical overhaul of the Scottish leagues on the back of all this, so maybe things will work out better for everyone up there after all. Can't imagine everybody is going to get on too well up there though, not after what's gone on.
