The future looks potentially very good? Yes, for Liverpool and the future bank accounts of Mrs Lallana and Mrs Lambert. Talk of Europe is a joke at this stage. You don't say you want to quality for Europe and then destroy the entire team starting the next day. It's also irrelevant if the new manager gets a "warchest". No good players will want to come here if we've already sold our existing good ones. And even if they do there's no guarantee they'll work out. Let's just pray for survival next season and a competent board.

The impetus for selling might not be coming directly from the board, but there is no doubt they have helped to create this uncertainty amongst players, and a feeling that everyone wants to get the f**k out. When Cortese left if they'd have come in and said "no worries guys, everything still bang on track. This is still Southampton. We've still got Poch, Lallana, Lambo, Morgan, Shaw, stick with us on this incredible journey and we'll all be superstars together mwa ha ha ha" or something similar without perhaps the sinister laugh (and a couple of new juicy contracts), then why wouldn't everybody have wanted to stay? The appear, appear, to have royally ****ed up the incredible group spirit we've had here since the last 5 years, in the space of a few short months. That takes some doing.

We need to keep the spine of our team and the most important players. Lallana and Lambert definitely fall into that category. As do Lovren, Morgan, Cork and Jay Rod. Seems we'll lose at least 4 of those possibly all 6 though.

It's pretty clear that's what's going on. Cortese wanted to progress, Liebherr wants her money. This was all very obvious when Cortese left but has only become clear to many just now.

What do we do? Gt on with our normal lives. Grow our businesses. Play with our kids. Eat fresh, raw living foods. Enjoy life. Simple. And in the mean time, try and forget that the stupid little thing we all love called Southampton FC is being butchered again in front of our eyes.
