  1. i say boom boom boom, let me hear you say wayo...
  2. To the tune of Hey there Mr. Holdsworth by the The Elderberry Hey there Jay Rodriguez, Super Jay Rodriguez, He'll bang 'em in just for fun, la la la la la etc
  3. I would say that he is better than Ashley Cole, actually. Cole doesn't even play for Chelsea anymore, it's Azpilucueta (sp?) I think he'd also get into the Man Utd team ahead of Evra (if not immediately, within the next season for sure), and Liverpool too. I reckon if Saints show a lot of ambition and determination to keep him, it looks and sounds as if Shaw is happy here at the moment, so I'm hopeful he will be here for another season. Lallana is the one I couldn't bare to see playing in another team's kit. It feels like he's one of us!
  4. I thought the fastest growing sport in America was UFC? Perhaps we'll sign Chuck Liddell to play Centre back? Maybe introduce some take-downs and submissions too, would certainly spice the game up a bit.
  5. Could Sam McQueen get on the bench? Or did he play today also?
  6. Does MLG work for Saints media team? Think the praise should be directed at them. Cracking video, and they do a great job in general with content actually. We get a lot of stuff most top Prem clubs aren't getting, content wise.
  7. Sorry if already posted but I hadn't seen this interview with NBC, and there are some new and interesting comments on there from Krueger, especially when he mentioned he wants us to remain different from everyone else by continuing to play young English players. http://prosoccertalk.nbcsports.com/2014/03/12/southamptons-new-canadian-chairman-chats-growth-in-north-america-nhl-roots-saints-future/
  8. This season it is beyond us, yes. Next season, who knows?
  9. Teams who don't sell out and are playing at a low level often give away free tickets. Just as we did in League 1.
  10. I would take it but I'm in the wrong continent... Oooh I wish I had a private jet
  11. Pulis has very much gone up in my estimation over this! Excellent stuff, someone in the game actually having balls to take action - and against his own players! Good man
  12. Was the coldest winter here in Thailand for over 30 years, with temperatures reaching a bitterly cold 20degrees celcius at times. I didn't have any thick clothes to keep me warm, which was difficult, but at least it proved there is no global warming.
  13. This game is crying out for Gaston... oooh jay rod close
  14. If he wins it another step in the direction of football becoming a completely non-contact sport, aka the death of football. Cases like this mustn't be allowed near law courtrooms.
  15. Big shame he got taken out by that clown Wes Brown and wasn't allowed to go on and score. Think he would have have a great 6 or so weeks since then if that injury hadn't happened. Get him in next game, perhaps for Davis who has been great recently but disappointing against West Ham.
  16. Would never have been put in charge of our of our games had Cortese stayed. But now he has, well, there goes the three points this weekend.
  17. Best things for me- Mostly always exciting to watch our style of play- Young English academy grads all over the place- Lallana- Lots of away wins- Half the squad predicted to go to Brazil with England... ish
  18. Ultimately, there is no point in any of this. There is no meaning. It's just a bunch of random stuff happening, and then we die and more random stuff happens that we'll never know about. The footy just annoys us a bit in the middle.
  19. Pochettino, that was pathetic. What do we expect when the manager comes out and says he is not interested in the Europa League, which is basically the same as saying he's not interested in winning the FA Cup. That showed big time today with a weak team selection even though we don't have a game until next Saturday. And we won't we even hear from him. Pretty pathetic Oh, and the players were all terrible too. I guess they couldn't be inspired by Poch for this one. He didn't look too frustrated towards the end of the game either
  20. I hope we sign him just because that song is dope yo and so are his skills. man i feel like moneeeey, man i feel like money, they attracted to me... man i got em all buzziiiiiin
  21. For some reason I was also thinking of Brugges when I read this post. But the same answer stands for Brussells as it would for Brugges... "it's alright".
  22. ...then you'll love this Probably the most crazy f*cking thing I've seen. :scared::scared:
  23. And Posting stuff like that is embarrassing for you. Or your alter ego, or his alter ego, or what ever the deal is with your usernames and the incredible amount of time you spend on message boards. Surely it'd be more fun being a troll in real life? Actually winding people up for real... but trying to wind up people online... that's another level of low I guess. Can't even bring yourself to annoy people in real life, has to be virtual. As I've said before, would love to see a good BBC documentary investigating internet trolls like Glasgow, Alpine, Turkish... who they really are, what happened in their lives to cause this troubled behaviour, is there any hope for them etc etc. It must be something to do with a complete lack in human to human interaction, not being sure how to communicate and function properly as a member of society, so resort to this kind of stuff... As for Guly, hope he gets a one year extension, just because I like him.
  24. I don't need any newspaper report to prove to you that Yoshida had a great game, thanks very much. It was clear to see, and he was also singled out by Fonte after the game. Very pleased he has filled in the gap well in Lovren's absence. Important to have more than capable back up.
